I sold a customer a Vanguard in 300 Win Mag scoped it and took it to the range for a sight-in. I also took my new Mauser M18 with some loads I had tweaked. A load of 40 grs. of R-17 under a 130 gr. Sierra TGK will stay around an inch. It should get me through deer season.

The Weatherby was just so so. I tried a box of 180gr Federal Fusions and would average 1 1/2 inch, but it wasn't any fun. I shoot a 300 WSM in a 6 1/4 pound Savage and that Weatherby kicked harder than it. It is good enough for an elk hunt but it definitely isn't fun off of the bench.

Didn’t think about it until writing this post but I guess it was a ruger day.
6.5” Ruger Blackhawk .41 magnum
5.5” Ruger Blackhawk Flatop .44 special
Ruger 10/22, I was sighting in a new scope,3x9 to replace the 4x I had on previously, was shooting fiocchi subsonic hollowpoints at 40yds for getting squirrels outta the tops of these big fir trees here in Wa.

Shot my first hunting rifle today after 29 years. Winchester Model 70 XTR Featherweight in .257 Roberts. I loaned the scope it originally had on it to my brother back in 1994 or so, and never replaced it. I bought a Ruger M77 in .30-06 in `96 for hunting and the beautiful Winchester sat in a case through multiple moves around the country.

Finally installed a Nikon scope the other day and decided to take it out. I shot my first deer, my first Pronghorn antelope, and first elk with this rifle. All one shot kills at ranges from 150 to 269 yards.

I was surprised that when shooting it today, it barely managed 2" at 100 yards. My Ruger will do an inch or better, and my other hunting rifles will do the same.

1974 Browning BT 99 in our annual two club challenge match. 25@16, 24@20 for high individual. We are 14 down going into week two (final). Two teams each, fifty birds each, totals this week 462 to 448, their favor.
The BT is a performer and a 34" full choke beast. Not much room for error at 1 6.

Yesterday, I shot some test loads through my new-to-me CZ82, and tested My Yugo M59 (no/66) SKS after installing and fitting a magazine.
Today, I reloaded box of 9x18 and cleaned up the SKS.

Hit the range yesterday for my birthday. Mostly .22 again and brought my Chinese SKS with me. Put 40rds of Steel Tula just to try it. Had a nice kick, need to try it at an outdoor range one day. Brought my Yugo Tokarev, still having issues with it may need to have it repaired. Shot my Henry .22 rifle, used some Aguila Colibri ammo. Also brought along my MP22c and TX22

Steyr Prohunter in .3006 and an Anderson AR 15. New optics on each, zeroed quickly and without issues
