What gun do your regret selling THE MOST?

I don't see where it's a cop-out to say "all of them." If I still had them, I'd have a pretty decent collection.

Smith & Wesson Model 19 Combat Magnum
Colt 70 Series Government model 45acp
Ruger Speed six 2 3/4 .357
Dan Wesson heavy frame 22LR, 6" barrel
Colt New Frontier SAA 22LR
Ruger Old Army 44 BP
Ruger 44 Super Blackhawk 44 mag.
Couple of Ruger 22 Standard Auito's
Ruger Security Six 4", 357, SS
Ruger Blackhawk 357, 4 5/8"
Smith & Wesson 39-2, 9mm
Taurus 38, 4" heavy barrel.
Taurus 66, 7 shot, 357
Taurus 85, concealed hammer, 38 special
Mitchell Arms SAA, 4 5/8" 45 Colt
Kel-Tec P-11, 9mm

I think that's most of them. Doesn't include the long guns of course. But if I had to pick one, it would be Model 19 at the top.

I regret selling my Mini 14 to a buddy of mine. I just saw it the other day and it may not be the best semi-auto centerfire out there, but it was my FIRST semi-auto centerfire. :(

My series 106 High Standard Citation.

Parting with this was one of my biggest mistakes.:banghead:

First handgun I bought was a S&W 19, 200 bucks at a gunshow in 1991

Mint condition and a DA trigger smooth as butter

Traded it off like a dumbass...wot was I thinking? :banghead:

I've owned a couple other 19's since, but they never came close to that first one

Pretty much all of the S&W revolvers I have ever sold, I wish I had back. I also really regret letting my friend buy my Ruger Speedsix. He pestered me for years about it and I finally sold it to him. I haven't seen him since!

I have 2 that I regret.
Colt King Cobra.(4" stainless)
S&W 686 (Kentucky State Police return)

I want them both back.

My Bersa Thunder 380CC with nickle finish. I sold it to buy a Saiga AK, which I do NOT regret buying. :)

2x Series 70 Colt Gold Cup National Match .45's
Factory nickel Smith & Wesson 39-2
Factory nickel Smith & Wesson models 37 & 38
Blue 4" Smith & Wesson model 57 .41 magnum
Ruger Model 77-R in .338 Winchester magnum*

I have only sold one gun, so by default that is the one I regret selling the most.

It was the first gun I bought for myself, with my money. It was a used Taurus Millenium PT140 (pre-pro). It ran fine, but I didn't like the trigger, the accuracy, or the width, and .40 was too expensive to plink with.

I didn't really sell it, I traded it for a NIB Argentine hipower. Now I consider the hipower the first gun I bought, since the trade was even and no money was exchanged.

I regreted not keeping the PT140 once but then I remembered how much I disliked it. It looked just like this one:

Rifle = Ruger Mini 14 I bought 76 or 77 for $159
Shotgun = USMC Ithica 12GA of WWII ventage bought '70 for $75
Hangun, Autoloader = Colt 1911 70 Series I bought in '77 for $300
Handgun, Revolver = Colt King Cobra 6" bought in '87 for $375

The Mini 14 I really do not regret selling except for what it would sell for now, but the others I would dearly love to replace if I could stand the price. I have wondered on occasions over the years what the old Ithica would be worth. I loved the hold the trigger and pumping it to fire w/o having to release the trigger.

Forgot about my Rossi .357 Cyclops. Yeah, it was a Rossi. Yeah, it was heavy, but it was also a tack driver. It looked cool too! I had the 8" barrel version.

Here is a stock photo of a 6":

Regret most: Toss up between a S&W 910 9mm automatic and a Colt Mustang .380.
Regret least: Taurus .38 revolver - worst gun I ever had.

Gun I regret selling the least: SIG P239

Didn't really fit my hand that well, its sale funded a Browning Hi-Power, which was later traded for a SIG P228--the best handgun I have ever shot.

Gun I regret selling the most: 4" S&W 686-4

I don't really regret selling this gun as it was bit barrel heavy for me, but of all the guns I have sold this is the only one I have considered buying back. I sold it to a friend of my father-in-law and he said I could buy it back anytime I wanted.

In its place I have purchased a 4" S&W 586 which the seller had cut down the lug. It looks like a model 29, is much more comfortable than the full lug 686 and is just as accurate.

My sentimental favorite "New Orleans Pimp" Colt PPS
The SAFN with spare barrel (still kicking self)
The Mosin 28/30's
The Sig P225

Regret selling the mos...probably the Glock 34. I miss the gun, but I traded it for a reason I do not regret.

My Ruger P90. It was the first pistol I bought when I trurned 21, and I shot it so much that I realized I needed to downgrade to something of smaller caliber. I traded it for my G17, which was substantially cheaper to shoot. That .45 is the only one I've ever parted with.

I've sold some many guns over the years, we're talking dozens...Many I had no love for so I don't regret selling them but a few here and there I wish I still had.

Of all of them probably the one I miss the most is my Colt 1991A1, it was my first 1911 and one of my first handguns.:(

Revolver: Python 6" Nickle Auto: safariarms 1911 Matchmaster Rifle: Bushmaster AR-15 Shotgun: S&W Auto 12 gage

I regret selling my RRA AR15 that I put together from a kit. I also regret selling my cz75b 40 cal, and my Kimber Custom Compact with the best trigger pull I've ever felt. I don't regret selling my stainless champion, my glock30, or my hipoint 9mm.
