I am looking at picking up a gun by the end of summer, saving money now. What would be the choice? a saiga 12g(I would change it and do the con vert)$700-800? or a PSL rifle? I really want to get a PSL because of the cheap surplus ammo. What is the max range[in yards] you can get on the basic scope it comes with? will it work up to 200-300 yards? I know you have to use surplus ammo with it because of the damage to the reciver with higher grains.
I already have a few shotguns, I would really like a long range rifle. I do not have one with a scope yet.
On the PSL you can install a bipod? just drill into the wood?
