You,uh,got enough Super Soakers there bud?

Dr. Rob is right. There's guys like us who can't freakin' wait for the aliens.Or zombies.Or underground lizard people. I don't even want to fight the green fellers! I just want to show all my nay-saying buddies that dammit,I was right and I bet you're sorry now you didn't single-handedly cause the 7.62x39/5.56 shortage.

;)

WOW! There is enough water power there for your children and their friends on Maple street to invade the children around the block on Magnolia street:cool:
The backyard treehouse fortress of Magnolia and it's 20 strong with "waterpistols" will not stand a chance will all that waterpower:p

EDIT: how this will this affect your water bill? :D

Alien invasion?

No guns needed. Just a leviathan thats been slighly modified to create wormholes.

Guaranteed to gobble up those invading aliens, their attack fleets, your planet and the rest of the galaxy.

Problem solved once and for all.

Well if they are like the aliens in Signs then any old baseball bat will work. But i would use my glock 22 with 155 grain winchester silvertips and a browning bps with 00 buckshot.

Some invasions mean a lot of aliens. In that case, get a light-kicking gun with cheap FMJ ammo. They're not worth a hollow-point. You don't want to wipe out a whole alien division and be sore for a month afterwards.

Be aware that, if you are caught in your home, alien commandoes will head for either the bathroom or bedroom. After watching American television commercials clandestinely, they know that Americans spend their life taking Viagra and dealing with bladder control. If you hide in the closet, you can take them by surprise every time.

Aliens?

The Predator's shoulder mounted plasma cannon seems to work pretty well. As do their infinitely sharp, cut anything blades, spears and glaives.

Plus, you've got that groovy pocket nuke as your "retributive strike" deadman's weapon.

But for maximal fun, you'll be wanting a lightsaber.

I will take a lightsaber, and personalized mechanical infantry exoskeleton suit of awesomeness +3.

And an airship mounted with 1,000 Vulcan Cannons from the A10, with a million rounds each.

And 1,000 lucky THR members to man them:D .

After the surrender - do you prefer to be in the Zoo or the Breeding Farm?

From Steinfield - George had a choice.

A Glorious Heritage class battleship (complete with gorgeous alien medic), and a load of Forcelances.

A few M-41As, a Plasmagun, and how about one of these?

And just to finish it off, a syringe and a vial of C-24.

I have two words for you:

"Marauder Suit"

(for all you Heinlein fans out there :p)

PS: Paul Verhoeven can rot in hell

+10000

I seriously hope he gets a funnel of hot lava you-know-where in hell for what he did to Starship Troopers...

But "seriously" with the disparity in technology and the vast differences in age/experiance of warring civilizations, you're either the dominator, or the straggling survivors. Evenly matched civilizations like in Star Wars/Star Trek or any other number of sci-fi universes is unrealistic.

The superior force can just drop asteroids on you. A truly advanced race, assuming they wanted to fight you for some obscure reason could do really exotic things, Sindwave's example from Farscape where they just toss away offending battle fleets and planets into a wormhole is on par.

For the "straggling surviviors" category, you're probably reduced to sniping, and assuming the individual aleins are still vulnurable to KEW or energy weapons, but have superior sensor capability, something with a decent "shoot and scoot" factor is a good thing. Mortars and .50BMG sniper rifles are probably good choices. But you'd better be running the instant the shot is fired...
