I'm not flaming them but I am surprised at how they arn't taking care of this problem. (hope this is in the correct forum) I shipped back my almost new ChargeMaster 1500 complete with all the parts. It died, would not do anything, I called customer service, I was told to send everything back, plus a check for $45.00, to their Oroville facility via USPS priority mail. I have a confirmation of the delivery over a week ago. I called them to check the status and was informed that they do not have my 1500.............I sent them a copy of the delivery confirmation and they claim that the problem is that it was sent USPS (per their instructions) and now they cannot find my unit. For the past few days I keep getting "answers" from them stating "they are still looking" for my ChargeMaster 1500. I just got off the phone again with them and still cannot get an answer as to where my 1500 is or what they plan on doing about loosing it. This really surprises me that seeing as thought they have the proof of delivery they have not replaced nor indicated they are going too replace it. Going back to my initial call to them I was told that the $45.00 I sent them was to cover the cost of "repair/replacemnt & return shipping".

I guess that seeing as thought nobody can get primers from their parent company (ATK) maybe I don't need the 1500 anyway................

Beats me, I've tried to get ahold of them for the past 2 days and the line has been busy. I tried calling after lunch, well into their break being over and but the answering machine was still picking up.

What happened to RCBS customer service?
It's still there, they just can't find it. I am sure they will take care of you. They really do have great customer service. It is frustrating when folks lose your stuff though.

I sure hope so.

RCBS

I am sure RCBS will take care of you. They are only human and right now the gun and reloading companies are way overloaded with new people getting into eqiupment for the first time. Be patient!!

Today when I called I was on hold an hour before I got to talk to anyone. It took me three calls just to get their phone to ring. When I got thru I was caller #21 in line.

RCBS is very busy like everyone else in the gun & ammo business since Obama got in office. I had to call them to get a new powder tube for my 1500 and like you after being busy alot I finally got answered and then had to wait 15 min or so before talking to someone. They sent me a new powder tube out free of charge which surprized me and I ordered a couple of other item's while I was on the phone. I have had nothing but good dealings with them every time I have used them or called them so I feel sure they will take care of your problem.

I called several times over two days getting nothing but a busy signal. Finally just sent an e-mail and had a response with resolution the next morning.

Today is the day I was promised that this whole thing will be cleared up and taken care of. We'll see.

to be continued

I think everyone selling any gun related product is having problems right now. I don't thing RCBS is alone. I tried to call Armalite last week and I can't even get a live body anymore. 3 months ago no problems at all.

If the customer base has risen as much as the numbers say. Then every manufacturer is under pressure. I don't think they were staffed to handle the shift.

Would you rather have government employees helping? Consider the demand now and be patient. Let us know what happens and good luck.

The customer service reps are over in the marketing department helping to mark up 44-40 taper crimp dies to $90.00!!
Geez, man!

Sounds more like a USPS problem rather than an RCBS problem. Did you get a tracking number when you shipped it?

As said above, every company in the entire industry is super busy these days. In a way, that's a good thing, but I understand how annoying it can be when you're [not] on the receiving end.

Yes and I have the proof of delivery which has been also sent to RCBS. Even with the "proof" in front of them they cliam the package is not there.

I called them just a few hours ago. The wait time was long, around 31 and a half minutes, but they answered my question in about 20 seconds and are even sending me a free part!

I just purchased their Advanced Powder Measure Stand and when it arrived I noticed it wasn't threaded. I called them to simply ask about the best way to firmly attach the powder measure and the kind lady on the other end told me to just use the lock ring on the measure, attaching it from underneath. She mentioned that it really works better with a lock ring on top and one on the bottom, so she got my address and is sending me a free extra lock ring!

I've only contacted them twice. Both times they have shown me fantastic customer service (and given me free parts).
