Just got home from a 12 hour shift, 7:00 am this morning 'til 7:00 pm this evening. I do this every year so one of our young full time officers can have time off to be with the wife and kids on Christmas day. It's my little contribution every year. It's the least I can do, take some of the load off the guys, and it's one of the reasons I'm a part time officer. Merry Christmas and God Bless us every one!

Well I for one thank you! I've been on the short end of the stick many times and had to break it to the family that I would not be enjoying Christmas with them.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas even though it was spent working!

Merry Christmas!

I do hope they thank you for being so generous. That's really nice of you to do that so they can spend time with their family and loved ones.

The only one I didn't get to spend Christmas with is my Dad.

He passed away on the 20th. I miss him dearly.

Many thanks for your service to your community, and to our country.
I know from first hand experience, being a police officer is not always
easy; and is often times a demanding job. Having to be away from
family and friends during the holidays can [and is] a nerve racking
experience. Guys and Gals in uniform, whether it be the police officer
on patrol in Hometown, U.S.A.; or the solider protecting our freedom
far-far away; my hats off too you~! We gott'a keep America free,
and make the streets safe once again. Thank you all, and warmest
wishes for the '07 Christmas and New Years season~! ;) :D
