Taurus M66, near identical except doesn't have the flat spot on the forcing cone and IMHO a little stronger. But, there are plenty of Taurus haters who don't agree. I have two of 'em, though, and both are more accurate than the M19 I had and just as well built, just as good a trigger.
Rossi's M 971 is a little lighter, but close to a K frame. I had one, functional, decent accurate, sorta liked it, but it wasn't a Smith far as fit and finish. Newer ones look better, but I haven't owned a 971 in a while. I had a firing pin snap on mine, but got it fixed. Only problem I had with it in probably 8K rounds of mixed hot and .38.
Rugers. The GP100 is porky, more like an L frame. The SP101 is smaller, about a J and a half frame. However, if you don't mind the lack of a round in the cylinder, the SP101 is built stronger than any K frame ever made and is one HECK of a good shootiin' firearm. I have one, love it.
