What is actual cylinder bore dia on 36 cal. revolver? I am thinking about creating a conical hollow base bullet for this caliber.

Also, please specify revolver you are measuring. Thanks.

If you have calipers you can run a ball, remove a nipple, and gently push the ball out and measure yours.
 
Oops, chamber diameter runs ,372 to .375 depending on which one you measure. Thought you meant bore size.

Unfortunately, I do not have 36 cal revolver yet. Looking for opportunity to get small frame Pietta 1858 Navy Target.

According to this thread https://www.shootersforum.com/threads/36-caliber-pistol-bullets.67210/ , some folks are using bullets .380" dia. I guess idea was to get a tight seal. For the same reason Ruger suggest for their Old Army ball .457" dia. I measured mine, and cylinder bores are .452-.453".
 
Colt bored chambers with a taper, I have an early Armi San Marco bored tapered.
There is a hollow base wad cutter that some use in .36 conversions. I don't know the dimensions, but you could look in to it.

A ball needs to be grossly oversized to sheer a driving band that uses friction to hold it in place. Bullets don’t need that since they come with driving bands. There’s no reason to go beyond maybe 0.002” over chamber diameter.
 
You may get different results due manufacturing discrepancies and you micrometer or caliper beig slightly off. Ball or pin guages might be the most accurate way to measure chambers, I have yet to find a cylinder from the factory that was 100% the same on all 6 holes.

Which would be disturbing if the guns didn’t shoot very well in spite of the differences chamber to chamber...
