While looking for a URX Buckmark, I see some of them say Camper on the box. What features make it the "Camper" model? Is it determined by the type of finish? I always thought it had something to do with the sights, but it claims to have the same target sights as the other URX's.

So, I am confused..............

I'm pretty sure that the Camper is the model with a round 5.5" barrel, while the URX has a slabside 5.5" or 7+" barrel and the Micro has a 4" slabside barrel.

That is what I had thought too. These have the round barrel, but also say camper. That is why I thought it might have something to do with the finish. My understanding is that the frames and sight should be the same now. The camper used to have a plastic rear sight, but from my understanding now, they all use the steel rear target sight.

I have a Buckmark Camper, being somewhat frugal (cheap?) I went for the lower priced Buckmark. Very happy with it, the excellent trigger feels the same as some of the more expensive versions at the Sportsman's Warehouse where I bought mine. Other than the appearance features I don't think there's much difference. Mine has the fiber optic front sight and steel windage and vertically adjustable rear sight. This pistol is one of the better .22 autos I've owned or shot. I like it as much as I did my old Colt Woodsman Match Target.
