What is the general consensus on the HK USP compact?

I've got an 8 yr old H&K USPc .40 w/ many thousand rounds downrange and many "character" scuffs and dings..... Not the first hiccup.....No FTF's, FTE's just good dependable shooting.... Alot of $$$$$ but well worth it IMHO......
