What is the last gun that you bought?

I bought earlier this year a French Mle 1873 revolver, built in 1878 according to the RCMP. I found a supplier in Belgium for reasonably priced brass and .451" bullets.

New England Firearms R92 6” barrel. Looking to buy a new gun soon though since I sold one a little while ago.

In anticipation of buying a Krag rifle--most likely an 1896 model. I won a model 1892 bayonet (dated 1895) and scabbard in a live auction. Now on to the more expensive hard part:eek:

I posted the above shot in the gun-related purchase thread a week or two ago about buying a Krag bayonet in anticipation of getting an actual Krag Jorgenson rifle. I won the rifle this past Friday in a live online auction. Below is one of the auction pictures and a description. I also had the auction people send me some extra pictures of the cartouche and proof stamp.

I don't know where they got their information about the unit connection, and unfortunately, I never asked about it. However, I still follow the old adage of: "buy the gun and not the story!". If true though, then this gun may have gone to Cuba during the war--which generally raises the value. If not true, I still paid a fair price.

Here's an auction shot plus the auction description.

P.S. I also won four 20 round boxes of Remington Krag 30-40 in a separate auction and even with a 20% buyer's premium got it for $5 less per box than retail.

Cheers

I picked up a Ruger SR9c at a local shop today. It came with the box, paperwork, a 10rd mag and 17rd mag. It's a stainless slide and it's a 2010 model.

Hi...
Picked up a Dan Wesson .357Maximum from layaway at a local gun shop.
Blued gun from the Monson facility...has the slotted barrel shroud. Very noticeable purple color on the frame and a not very noticeable cylinder line. Bore is in excellent condition...charge holes need a good cleaning.
Actually my son's newest revolver.
Now we need to order some brass and work up some test loads.

Just bought my second in October. A NIB Saint Victor which I sent to my nephew. I am going for "Uncle Of The Year". One vote for sure;)
