What is your dream revolver?

the medusa, but more affordable and available. When I first heard of this SA/DA revolver, they said it could shoot like 15 different rounds that are all close to the same diameter bullet.

Ok I'll play-

My ultimate revolver would be a love child of these three:

Mateba Auto Revolver

S&W M+P TR8

Ruger LCR

6" barrell, polymer/scandium framed, "tactical" auto-revolver with 8 round capacity chambered for .45 ACP/.45 LC/.460 S&W Mag. Practical? Not very. But HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE?? :what:

Sounds...painful. Yep, painful.

Avenger,
I sort of feel like with the auto-loader function it would reduce the recoil to somewhat managable levels. Besides with all that crap on the gun it wouldn't really be that light anyways- but who can say?

Since I've got the big guns I want, I'll go over some I don't.

.475 Shroud length Freedom Arms 83, that's about a 4" barrel.
.500JRH BFR Custom Shop revolver, with JRH custom grips.
Gary Reeder BMF, with shroud length barrel.
Any number of custom, short barreled .500 Linebaugh, or .500 S&W, with concealment length barrels.
.357 frame, with .41 Magnum/special, 5 shot cylinder, with short barrel and CCW grip.
Night Guard .41 Magnum, or .44 mag/special, with 3" barrel.
Custom 35 oz Doc Holliday special in .500 JRH...

Call me easily amused, but if I could find a 586 2.5" in like-new condition, I'd throw down the plastic and buy it right now.

Never been able to find one of the fabled snubnose variety.

Hi-Point 5.75" 4 shot revolver in .25 ACP (+p), with tactical wood grips. I've always been highly impressed with ANYTHING Hi-Point.

It's not HiPoint, but Charter Arms is connected with MKS Supply, the same people who bring you HiPoint.

A 10mm pre lock S&W possibly. Top dream would probably be a Manurhin, maybe a Korth.

I wish NAA would make the minis in .25acp.

A Colt Single Action Army, 4 3/4" barrel, blue/color case hardened, hand engraved in late 1800's style, 44 spl.

It would get carried and used.

I'm diggin the responses! GP100 5 shot in 44 special got my vote first. Ya'll are very creative! I forgot to add in my initial post that these revolvers can be in production, owned in but a dream, or entirely fictional but you guys seemed to picked up on that right away!

3 inch Colt Python with fixed sights

I wish Colt would start up again but I do not believe I will see it again.

I would love to have the 4" version of my Korth .22 l.r. but in .357 Magnum, made about the same time. But I am flexible, a Manurhin MR73 with a 9mm conversion cylinder would be as good as a really nice 5" S&W M27 would be.

I've often dreamed of finding a near-mint Colt 1878 double action with smokeless proofmarks (and they actually do exist.) In terms of modern guns, I dream of new-production Colt New Service revolvers. I have simple dreams, I really do.
