I bought a set of bonded ivory grips for a S&W model 29 from Gun Grips on line. Fast service and the grips are a perfect fit.

There’s also Altmont. I think they both carry about the same inventory. If memory serves me, I think the Altmont was a little less on price, but I got lost on their website and paid the extra couple of bucks from Gun Grips.

I have used Eagle Grips for S&W guns, Lett (now defunct) and Cary Chapman (CLC Grips) for Rugers.

Too many grips makers use that stabilized wood which is plastic impregnated. I don't like the feel and won't have them on my guns.

Badger grip (black full size) on my 3" SP101.

Hogue rosewood laminate (with finger grooves) on my 6" stainless GP100.

Hogue overmold on the wife's 2.25" SP101.

If Badger made a full size GP100 grip that's the same shape as the full size SP101 grip, it would be on my GP100 already.

It depends. In numbers, single action Ruger grips from CLC far outnumber all others at somewhere around 16 pairs. Cary is no longer taking orders though so I've had to try some others.

Sack Peterson does a great job if you want elk antler.

BluMagnum does a fantastic job on both SA and DA grips.

As does BarS with their TruIvory.

For DA grips, I've found none better than Herrett's Roper design.

Ahrends' Retro Targets work well but are not as comfy as Herrett's.

Hogue is one of my least favorites but I think I can make these work by knocking the top off the palm swells.

Envy is one of the seven deadly sins that I try to avoid, but when CraigC posts pictures I find myself having to do a church confession! :D

I also love the feel of Hogue grips, they are great for my hands.
But dammit, some of Craig's grips up there are just too good-looking to ignore.
Absolutely beautiful.
