Glock of course.
Honestly though, what is your favorite striker fired firearm. Plenty of choices most are just feel and what's comfortable but be reasonable and explain why it's your favorite.

HK P7. It feels good in my hand and points naturally, is very accurate, and is relatively thin which helps for concealment and for smaller handed shooters. It also has a very interesting manual of arms and method of operation (how many other pistols do you know of that use a gas delayed blowback system?).

I swear one of these days I'm actually gonna buy one and stop borrowing my friends' P7s :D
Maybe if I ever sell that FAL...

is that hk difficult to dissasemble and clean? how dirty is it after say 100 rounds? Any malfunctions??

Ruger SR9. Light, accurate, flawlessly dependable, adjustable sights, ambi safety and mag release. One of my favorite 9mms, hammer or striker fired.

Full size M&P40...mine was smooth right from the beginning. I would also recommend it because of it's accuracy and dependability.

Stays M9-A1 - the ergonomics are amazing and a good trigger. If you don't like the trap-style sights, you can replace them with Trijicon night sites - I did.

It's not difficult at all to disassemble, very similar to straight blowback guns. Lock the slide to the rear, push the round take down button (located where you'd find a 1911 safety) and pull the slide to the rear and lift up, then let the slide move forward and off the gun. The barrel is fixed (helps a lot with accuracy) and the spring surrounds the barrel like a standard blow back pistol, and the piston is underneath the barrel but attached to the slide so it will come out as one piece.

They're not too touchy about being clean, it is a combat gun after all. I'd say that it's comparable to my sigs as far as how much residue is left after a trip to the range. The P7 is actually able to function completely without an extractor. The fluted chamber allows the casing to exit very easily and makes for a very reliable cycling gun. Just a word of warning though, if you reload you may want to have someone watching where the brass goes. P7s are known for sending brass into the next county. The German police used it for years (actually the source for the P7 PSPs that are around $600-700) and I believe the German GSG9 had a few as well.

The only real issues I know about with the P7 are that it tends to get hot after a while if you're doing fast strings of fire, and mags are pretty expensive. Overall it's a really fun gun to shoot and definitely worth looking into.

I've got a few, but the HK P7M13 is the most fun to shoot.

It's toss-up for me between the HK P7 and Walther P99.

The P7 has a unique design and manual of arms that makes it extremely safe and very fast to bring into action. It has the characteristics of a full sized gun (barrel length and grip length) in a compact package. It would be ideal if it were not quite so heavy, or expensive, or out of production.

The Walther P99 is also an unusual design. How many other striker-fired guns have DA/SA triggers, second-strike capability, and decockers?

Walther PPS - primarily because of fit in my hand

Closely followed by the XD series, 9x19 and .45acp (not the XD(money) nonsense, the good old workhorse XD, and I'm looking forward to the XD(s) slim models for thinner CC)

My world's first custom Beretta Nano. Robar NP3, Hogue Handall jr grip, Pearce Grip Kahr pinky extension and Steve Bedair Stainless guide rod.

I even like the trapezoidal sights. The Steyr M9-A1 is the most underrated pistol around in my opinion.
