What is your regular 9mm target load?

I use 4.2gr WST with a cast 125 gr truncated cone from Precision Bullets. 1.100 OAL. Gives me right around 1000 fps with little to no leading.

124 Berry

My favorite 9MM load is a 124 Berry RN with 3.7 Grains Claydot/WSP Primer.COL 1.130 :)

mixed brass. 124 grain berrys plated round nose. 5.5 grains of silhouette. wsp primer. 1.15 OAL. 1100 fps factory glock 17.

Mixed range-pickup brass, 124gr,FMJ, and 4.1 grains of Titegroup. It cycles 100% in my Glock, and is plenty accurate enough for IDPA matches, and economical enough to afford regular practice, as long as I can find the primers and bullets.

4.0 gr of W231 is below start charge, even for lead load data. For me, 4.6 gr of W231/HP-38 and 115 gr FMJ starts to reliably cycle the slides of Gen3 Glocks with new factory recoil spring assemblies. Perhaps you are using 124/125 gr bullets or well used recoil springs?

Hodgdon load data

115 gr Lead RN W231/HP-38 OAL 1.100" Start 4.3 gr (1079 fps) 28,400 CUP - Max 4.8 gr (1135 fps) 32,000 CUP
115 gr Speer GDHP W231/HP-38 OAL 1.125" Start 4.7 gr (1075 fps) 25,300 CUP - Max 5.1 gr (1167 fps) 28,100 CUP

My 9mm reference load is with Winchester 115 gr FMJ and 4.8 gr of W231/HP-38 at 1.125" - 1.135" OAL.

Here's 1999-2005 Winchester load data comparing 115 gr FMJ vs JHP powder charges along with 124 FMJ.

Cycles my 19, 26, CW9, Hi Point carbine, and Beretta 92 very reliably, feeds reliably, ejects reliably, and is as accurate as Federal Wally World 115gr ever was. What more could I ask for?

My daughter has the only 9mm in the house, a KelTec P11. It just won't feed 147 grain ammo. However, it is very accurate and reliable with standard pressure 115 grain Winchester SilverTips.

My M&P full size likes this load. I do too. I can't tell much difference from factory target stuff, except mine seems more consistent.

Wow looks like most load shorter COL than I. I've been loading mine at 1.140 with great results.

124 Gr X-Treme HP and N320. Brass drops at my feet, is super clean, and shoots better than me. Other bullets work well too, but this is what I am shooting right now. Picked up 2000 late 2012 @ $88perK shipped. Did my shopping before hand. ;)
