I would say 1%. I added a Pachmyr grip to my XD and I touch up the stock white paint on the sights when it gets damaged. All my long guns have ammo carriers on the buttstock. My most modified weapon is my only 12ga. Replaced the stock, sights, sling points, pistol grip, added a rail section, and added a side saddle.

Ok, I have one gun that has not been "modified"... well almost, I had to stone the trigger and hammer so it would move to the half cocked position when dropping the lever... ie work properly. It is an 1889 Stevens Favorite .22lr that may have had those components replaced a long time ago as they show wear in this firearm. If this counts as a mod then I'd have to switch my answer to 100%. What can I say ... I like to tinker.

I'm going to say probably around 70 to 75% of my guns are modified in some way from their original stock configuration.

As others have commented...the definition of modified is vague. Does my custom k98 count? Yes. Does my rem 11-48 with choke tube count? Probably. Does my Rem11 count which came to me rusted up and barely functioning that has had every internal piece polished to factory finish or better but it's still a ragged old shooter on the outside...maybe. How about a single six with poor boys trigger job? I'm guessing half, but if scopes and such count it's 90%

100%

Shield - Apex trigger kit, XS Big Dot sights and Talon grips

Kahr P380 - XS Big Dots and Talon grips

I lied. I said 10% but then I started thinking about it and actually have more modifications than I originally thought. Its more like 30%.

75% are configured differently than they left the factory.

Only 1 has internal mod.
Only 1 has been irreversibly modified.
Only 1 was modified by someone other than myself.

I counted ANY difference from stock including optics, recoil pads and grip sleeves.

I put 10% but I only do it when things break
I broke the foreend on my mossberg pump. Put an aftermarket one on as a replacement.

The stock on my Savage 270 warped and started messing with my trigger, so I replaced the stock on that one too.

I prefer them stock mainly because I'd rather spend my money on reloading components.

I have re-barreled 2 of my handguns to 3" configuration
added Hogue grips to 2 others
And changed the optics on 3 rifles.
I am at 10%

I said only 20%, mostly firearms modified for competition in IPSC and SASS. I have a fair number of mil surps and collector guns which make up most of the other 80%.

Probably about 80%. I just gotta mess with most of 'em.

There are a couple that I won't be modifying from stock, and a couple I won't be modifying because they had professional work done to them and my WECSOG diploma isn't going to let me improve upon what they have done.

6/7 modified, 1 with a spring job, 2 with trigger jobs, 1 with mag disconnect removed, 2 with new stocks/grips (yes, that's more than 5... some guns have multiple)

I would guess about 70%.

Several dozen guns have Red Dot sights, lasers, laser/lights or scopes.

I remove magazine disconnects from every pistol where it's not too much trouble to get rid of it.

On dozens of magazines I replace the magazine base, spring or follower to allow another round or two.

Some guns have the grips replaced.

Some guns, like my 17 Makarovs, have the recoil springs replaced with stronger springs.

I've installed rails on several pistols to allow the use of lasers or laser/lights.

All of mine are modified in some way, either by myself, by the gun's previous owners, by my local gun-smiths, or by sending them back to the manufacturer for factory work. I would guess that around 80% of mine haven't had the manufacturer's warrantees voided at this point.

At least 50% of mine are modified, usually because it came that way or because I have to modify it to fit my needs.

The only ones not modified are my CCW pistol and a Mosin M44
