I voted for Glock 21.

But what does everyone see in the XD? Sure it's a bit cheaper than the Glock, but why?

I do prefer the XD to a glock, specifically for its grip angle and overall aesthetics. Though I also think the current popularity of the XD is in large part a fad , probably mostly due to very good advertising.

man i wish i could of went to the shotshow i wanted to fondle with this nice piece

The XD is 13+1 of 45 ACP in a grip with a 9mm girth... the Glock 21 is fat...the M&P 45 if I am not mistaken is going to be another 10+1 45 ACP...Plenty of 10+1 45's out there already...

If money was no object an HK. If I felt the need for a ploy 45 I'd spend my hard earned money on a used Glock 21 if I could find one. I've shot one before and I shocked myself at how good I was with it. I think a lot of it was the Heinie Straight Eight sights it had.

XD45 right now, beats the others hands down IMHO.

I haven't tried the FN or M&P. They look to have great designs also and they actually fit in many different size hands.

I've got an H&K USP Compact and a Ruger P97 and like them both, just not as much as the Sig P220. I know the Sig isn't a polymer frame.

Well - not to hijack this thread. But I have an XD45 Service - and it is excellent. However, you know how it is with guns...I'm itching to try somethng new.

So, it's for sale with lots of extras - check the sales forum.

My pick would be the HK USP Tactical 45 as the Match Trigger is the best on mine compared to any other DA I own. I don't think CZ has a polymer frame .45. EAA does and mine is good for the money. The trigger is not as good as the HK and the sights could use some work to widen the rear notch.

the Xd without hesitation. I have both the the USP and XD in .40. and the XD definately feels better in the hand.

HK USPf .45... still not understanding why people who pay $650 for a "loaded" Springer 1911 will balk at a pistol that's only $50 to $100 more expensive and then think it's price is still too high to afford. Just sayin'.
