I've been sort of out of the knife loop a bit. I was hooked on Spydercos for a while, and I owned and sold a lot of different models. Then, I bought a couple of Benchmades and settled down. Lately, though, I've been into Buck Knives with good steel (not the 420HC they normally use). I bought a couple of older Buck 110s in 440C and a Buck Zipper in ATS-34.
My top three right now?
Buck 110 from Pete's Custom Knife Shop. Stag scales, brass bolsters, fingergrooves, and BG-42 blade.
Benchmade Mini-Griptilian. I can't get enought of the Axis lock, and I'd like to see what Benchmade's 440C will do.
Spyderco Kiwi. Don't know what it is about this freaky little gentleman's folder, but I know I've got to have one eventually. VG-10 is another favorite steel.
