If you have not seen the BBC series Sharpe's Rifles, join Netflix and get all 15 episodes. Not only is it excellent but the guys getting killed are French! A win-win in my book! To be a "chosen man" you had to be able to hit a man at 300 yards off a rest. Lots of shooting, swordplay, women being disrobed, explosions and some great long range shooting.(and no nutri-system ads!)

Then after that comes a DPMS 260 Remington 24" sniper with a 4-16 S&B PH Mil-Dot. You just never know when a mullah might pop up!

1895 Chilean Mauser was the last thing I got last Monday. Next will be ... whatever i can afford Want a Kel-Tec rifle of some sort or maybe a 9mm, don't have one yet. Just not sure yet.

Just bought (yesterday) a Glock 27, OD frame, Trijicon sights........Traded in two guns I never shoot anymore (SW 640 & 6906), plus got the LE Glock price!!!!!.....Will compliment my on-duty Glock 23......I am a pretty happy camper right now... Wow my post count is up to 2!!!! Look out.

Two weeks ago, I purchased my last and final gun...a Springfield Armory 1911-A1 Loaded in stainless steel. It's a beauty!

I bought my first gun, a Remington 870 Express Magnum, two years ago. I followed that purchase a few months later with a S&W Model 620 revolver.

Six months later, after lots of online research, I bought a Springfield Armory XD45 Service model.

My next two gun purchases were within the past six months for my wife, a Taurus Millenium Pro and a Kahr CW9.

So, I'm definitely finished buying guns. Although a nice AR would sure be fine to have, wouldn't it?

Which finally showed up a couple months ago. Lovely bugger, breaks down nicely, on target to 100m out of the box, and quiet enough that the dominant noise (to the shooter) is the action cycling.

Next up:
Purchases will be slow for a while. The next dream is a kevlar-and-chrome Alaskan Co-Pilot in .457WWM / .45-70.
...though I'm tempted by a pair of Glock 19s, and if 922(o) falls (thanks to Parker may happen) I'd be straight on to an M4.
...and the thought of getting a M/N-44 just keeps nagging at me.

I just picked up a Mosin Nagant 91/30, an ex-Dragoon built on a 1927 Tula reciever. It is in great condition.

I have no idea what I am going to get next. I would like an AK, though. I appreciate the Russian mindset when it comes to arms design.

Last purchase was an old .222 Savage 340. It is a remarkable shooter, at least with Hornady V-Max bullets. However, it is without a doubt by far the ugliest gun I own. Like riding a moped or dating a fat girl, it's fun until your friends see.

CZ just released the 527 in a left hand .223. That will be my next gun, unless I run across a Smith 696, which remains number one on my to-do list.

Last handgun was a Colt Commander series 80 so that I could speak for both firearms in all the Glock vs. 1911 threads ...

My last rifle was/is a .308 DSA FAL that I am waiting for, and probably will be waiting another 2-3 months for :banghead: !!!!

Next I am torn between getting a suppressor for the AR's, SBR'ing an AR(or two), or a .308 precision rife...(maybe AR-10, good .308 bolt action, maybe a .50 hmmm)

Still 2 Many Choices!?
