What was/will be your last/next puchase?

I've only bought two guns since this thread last surfaced--a Benelli SBE II last summer and a Kel-Tec PLR-16 that I picked up earlier this month. The two guns couldn't be more different, but they are two of my all-time favorite guns. I've already shot more birds with the Benelli than I did with my previous shotgun, and the PLR-16 is insanely fun to shoot.

My next purchases, in no particular order:

  • Remington 870 Marine.
  • Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in .454 Casull.
  • A varmint gun in either .223 or .22-250. I'm leaning towards either a Tikka T3 or a Savage, but I wouldn't rule out another AR, and the new Ruger Mini 14 has my interest.
  • Another 642 (for my wife).
  • An AK47 underfolder.

I'll probably be working on this list for the next few years. Somehow I need to fit the purchase of a new Shelby Mustang GT into that scenario.

Up in the air, but will probably be a Glock 29. I held one in my hand today at the gun show. The proprietor knows he has me. He says he generally has at least one in stock, which is a good thing.

Unfortunately, I also want a KelTec PLR-16 and a Savage Striker in .308

My last purchase was a Glock 21 camo edition.

The next i am interested in a rifle chambered in .375 remington. I was impressed with the ballistics.Plus I like big honkin bullets.... LOL Anyone know who's chambering this bullet besides remington ? They are a little bit pricey..... Rick
 
a decent handgun. Am debating utility/can afford sooner vs what I really want/have to save for

In other words a snub nose .38 or .357 vs a Sig 239
 
Last purchase was a Springfield M1A just 2 days ago. As far as next goes,it will just depend on what mood hits me when I visit the gunstore.
Been looking at several diferent things, possibly a S&W 500 revolver. That would give me 3 different 50 Cal weapons.

I think I'm done... for now. 10 firearms in a bunch of calibers strikes me as enough. Well, there is that little NAA mini-revolver that I have my eye on. .22LR or .22WMR, or two cylinders... decisions, decisions. ;)
 
Last purchase was another 10/22. Next thinking about a couple more Nagants and a bunch of ammo (to put up for some SHTF scenerios). I am also thinking about another 9mm pistol and a semi 30-06. I am wanting to consolodate cals so that I can share ammo. Right now I have a rifles in 6 cal. I would like to reduce that to 2 and buy more bulk ammo. I would also like to have another 12 ga and more buch shot.
 
Colt LE6920 Carbine, should be picking it up today.


Nothing else planned, I've pretty much got all the bases covered. Besides that, my wife is now watching me like a hawk since the "Colt LE6920" slipped by.

I should add another gone to my upcoming list: Browning BAR Lightweight Stalker in .308. I want an open-sight autoloader for carrying in thick woods, and I want something in .308 caliber. AR10-type guns are too damned heavy, as are the G91/FN-FAL clones. I might consider a Saiga, but I'm afraid once I started modifying a Saiga, I'd be hooked and become one of those Saiga nuts.;)

Regarding the PLR-16, I highly recommend it. Mine was a bit stiff for the first 200 rounds--I recommend cleaning it after no more than 50 rounds, and probably again at 100 and 200 rounds--but after everything bedded in it has worked flawlessly with all my AR magazines, even the old, worn-out ones.
 
Last purchase. CZ75B. It's on the way to a top CZ gunsmith for trigger work, new sights and grips. Next purchase. Maybe an 1873 Winchester replica, all slicked up. Eventually Smith and Wesson 686 4". SG
 
last pistol - Browning BDA 380. Didn't intend to, but I know better than to handle guns. Sort of like a puppy, you pick them up, caress them and tell them how nice they are, next thing you know they've followed you home.

Don't know the next one - been looking for a H&R break action .22 but haven't found one yet.

Last rifle - Marlin Camp 9. Next one would have been a Marlin 45-70 cowboy, but found a deal and it came home the same day as the Camp 9. Don't really have a "next rifle" picked out yet.

Still looking for a Marlin o/u 90 shotgun.

Why: I shot a buddies

Why: I just bought 60,000 rounds of 5.45x39
 
Next planned purchase is a Weatherby Mark XXII rifle (bolt action 22); this hopefully will be followed by a Marlin 1894 (41 mag). Already have the scope for the Weatherby. It's going to happen. I keep putting off the 1894.
No planned handgun purchases at this time; Last one was a Model 18 Smith and it was not planned for.

2nd purchase: AR-15. Leaning towards a Del-ton 16" lightweight carbine kit with a Superior Arms stripped lower.

Well last year a had to sell off about 12 firearms from my collection to help an ex-girl friend that was ill an unable to work. Sence that time I recently compleated a Caspian 1911 build (recon rail) that is real sweet.

I just ordered and am awaiting the arrival my my newest buy, a FN FS2000.

there are several condenders for my next buy:
1. AR-15 (to replace the one I sold last year)
2. Hi-power
3. Kel-Tec P3AT (also to replace the one I had to sell)
4. Kahr CW40 or MP40
5. Whatever good deal I find (that interest me) at the gun show in 2 weeks.
 
I think I'm gonna start looking for a nice, C stock 1903A3.

Gotta put a few $$$ away first, though. The days of just whipping out the Mastercard at a gun show/shop when I see something I like are over.

The last gun I bought was a Ruger Single Six for my kids.
