What was your first gun?

For a rifle I got a Ruger 10/22.

For a handgun I bought a CZ 52 first.

A brand spanking new Winchester 94 in 30.30. Paid somewhere around 60 bucks for it.

Ruger 10/22 that I still have. Bought in 1970, 37 years ago. Last year I sent it to Ruger and they 'tuned-it up' (replaced and fixed whatever was needed) for free and paid the return shipping!

first shotgun was a Mossberg 500 20 ga, my brother has it now
first rifle was a Marlin 336 30-30, now in possession of my dad
first handgun, and first gun I ever bought was a SW 457. I sold it after my first divorce, regretted it, and recently traded a balky MP 45 for another with 4 mags. I'm pleased with the trade.

First gun was a Marlin .22 LR rifle
First pistol was a Ruger Mark II.
First big bore was a Taurus 66 .357 Magnum with a 6" barrel.

Old Remington .22 pump rifle when I was 9. I have to get down to my parents house to get it. I think it's worth a lot of money now days. It was given to my dad by his dad, so it's got to be in the early 1900's

Mine was a Winchester model 37 single shot 16 gauge shotgun, given to me by my Grandfather when I was old enough to hunt. I still have that gun. NRA PATRON LIFE MEMBER

Remington 870 shotgun when I was 12yrs old followed shortly after by a bolt action Savage .22lr. The first firearm I bought myself was a Feather AT22 .22lr when I was 18yrs old.

Bought my first gun in 1970 right after I got out of the Army, a Marlin 336C 30-30. Beautiful rifle and I still have it.

First pistol, Stoeger Luger 22LR, jamomatic - got rid of it and got a Ruger MKI. Added a MKII and MKIII over the years.

Been through lots of guns over the years, most were good. The Ruger MKII, S&W Model 19 and Colt 1911 Series 70 are my favorites.

marlin glenfield model 60 .22 for B-day and followed up ~1 month later with a H&R single shot 20ga for Xmas!

My 1st pistol was a russian Mak which I still have!

Not counting my Daisy B*B rifle, or my Crosman pellet rifle: a Ruger 357 mag Security Six in s.s., long gun a Rem 700 in 30.06. Still have them both. First real gun I ever got to use/shoot on my own, my Dad's Mossberg bolt 22.
