Kerry
If Waffles reads the THR.
The last time I checked federal law made it illegal to hunt ducks with an AR-15. I even think that law is older than the 1934 machine gun tax law/act.
I think with Kerry in office it would be a dark and dismal time for gun owners and defenders of 2A. I really believe that if Kerry gets elected many liberals will feel the need to hastefully pass any legislation to protect ourselfs from ourselves to make up for the 4 years of "enslavement" of Bush and for the last 10 years of republican controlled Congress. Unless common sense prevails the sheeple will just smile and nod as liberties are removed.
I'm not exactly happy with Bush as president and once again I'll be voting against someone, not for someone. I'm so tired of having to sort out the better of two evils, I keep asking myself when is our champion going arrise from the grassroots and steer this country back on track.
I keep hearing that people shouldn't vote because of single items, but some single items are worth supporting because the aftermath of certain rights being removed makes it more than a single item. If they would somehow succeed in disarming the law abiding public, next would be abridging the power of the press and so forth, domino effect.
Not trying to be a pessismist paranoid, but sometimes you have to think that way.
