We're getting my son (10) a Marlin 336Y 30-30 Win. (short 12 LOP stock, 16.25" barrel) for Christmas. He'll be able to hunt in two years and has been shooting the last four. He shot my 336C 35 Rem. and really liked it, held the 336Y and loves it.
I'm going to get my wife a Glock G19. My G22 is just a tad to big for her.
My son, my wife and I all want another AR15. I sold my RRA Tasc Rifle and have regretted it from day one. Now my wife wants one. . . . .how AWESOME is that! I'd like to get another RRA with the mid length hand guard, 16" barrel, either a basic flat top or their UTE2 and go with an EOTech.
I've wanted a Smith & Wesson 629 Classic 44 mag. with the 5" full lug barrel for a long time.
Another Smith & Wesson SW1911 but in 9mm would be nice. Hopefully they'll come out with a lower priced model.
I traded my Winchester model 88 308 Win. two weeks ago to get my Remington model 7600 Carbine 30-06 Spr. The 7600 carbine is going to work better for me. I'd like to get another 308 Win. but in a bolt action some day. Maybe one of the heavy barrel Remington model 700's or a new Winchester model 70 Featherweight, Stainless Featherweight or Stealth.
I'd like either a Remington model 7600 35 Whelen or a Marlin 1895 (22" barrel), 1895G or 1895GS (both 18.5" barrels) 45-70 Gov. for my thumper rifle/carbine.
Lately I've been upgrading my scopes and sights as money has allowed.
