I got mine off of gun broker about 4 years ago for 159. the fellow couldn't unload it fast enough. When I got ahold of it I realized I had one of the final 20 rifles made in walnut, and it would shoot near a one moa group at 100 yds to boot. I would check gun broker.

Frankly you may be late in the game. I've bought many K31s in the last couple years, to include several of the JG $200 offerings, I think 6 of them. My prior K31s were nicer. We are at the end of them I fear. My recent 6 were all equal in quality; handpicked. Wood is solid and okay. Metal is worn in many spots on barrel and other spots. Bolt and receiver look practically new. Bolt could have been machined yesterday. At $200 a steal. At $300, unless you REALLY want a bayonet... eh. Maybe if you just really have to have one for your collection. Otherwise, ammo is now getting scarce again and unless you did like I did (buy up quite a lot) then you'll have a $300 surplus rifle with no ammo.

My K31s from '06 were much nicer and seems to me around $150.

The ship may have sailed on the cheap K31s and ammo. Consider a Mosin while they are still sub-$100 and buy a crate or 5 of ammo.

I got bit by the Mosin bug a few years ago, so I have them covered along with plenty of ammo. I bought my first Turkish Mauser a few months ago for a hundred bucks and I couldn't be happier. I would buy a dozen more if I could find them. The k-31 is kind of just next on my list... I am intrigued by them though and would probably handload for it if I cant find a decent supply of GP-11.

Right now Classic Arms is the cheapest, and I have ordered from them in the past...

Alan's Armory just got in a few and they're all in the $200 range. I've bought 4 from him and they've all been as advertised. Better act fast, they go quick.
