I don't yet have any handguns. That may soon change.
We were at the range on Sunday evening, sighting in a new scope I bought for my Marlin 60 .22lr, and patterning some new chokes in her 20ga semi-auto, when a guy walked in with a few guns and his first-time-shooting daughter, Kristen...about my wife's age. Kristen was nervous about shooting her dad's guns, one being a .44mag revolver, and the other a pistol-grip home-defense 12ga. The dad offered to let us fire off a couple rounds. My wife told Kristen, "If I fire them, you'll have to fire them, too." She agreed. Audrey's never shot a handgun, other than a .22lr...so I told her to hold on REAL TIGHT. Audrey picked up the .44, cocked the hammer, held on tight and squeezed the trigger. I don't think I'd seen her that excited in quite a while. She loved it, and wants to buy one now.

Picked up a P226 Blackwater last month, and this month will be a CZ P01 (this weekend if the dealer remembered to ship it to the store).
I wanted a couple of new 9mm's due to the low cost of the ammo so I have something I can practice with a lot. I'll still shoot my .45 and .357's, but not as much (unless my lottery numbers finally roll around one of these weeks).

Never thought I'd say this, but I already have too many guns. I am selling those I don't use, and opening some vault space, so I don't sratch and dent those that I already have.
What I am doing now is placing focus to buying some extra magazines, and some extra ammo. It's actually a nice feeling to have 100% of what I "need", and 99% of what I "want". Now I can focus on shooting them...a lot! All the same, cool thread. It seems most of us are on the same page...unnerved.

I just bought a Taurus PT-145 for CCW and am still in hot monkey love with it, so it's hard to say what's moved to the top of my list. Maybe another cowboy gun, or a smaller-gauge shotgun for home defense.
They're all good, and deserving of good homes. Like puppies.

With the prospects of this upcoming election, i.e a radical left wing socialist agenda, I'm stocking up on ammo and reloading supplies. I'd rather spend the $500 on that, than a new pistol.

Shotgun: tactical shotgun for HD, probably a Rem 870.
Rifle: something in .308 cal, but I don't know what yet.
I'm not sure which one first, but it won't be until January that I'll have the money to get the next one.

The gun that I shoot best is my buddy's CZ-75 in 9mm. It's like a frikkin' laser attached to my forefinger. Does the CZ come in .45ACP? I'd buy the heck out of one of those.
