I have an S&W 4" Model 3 Safety in 38 S&W that (according to quick and dirty serial number searches) was made before 1899. It's an elegant gun, spare and sleek with the lemon squeezer safety. The front sight is higher than average, and it still shoots high. I'm leery about adding materials to it, plus its costly to shoot, so I don't take it out much. I gotta say, though, that it's the sleekest handgun I own. It reminds me of the Winchester 1897 shotgun in terms of design. The Model 12 is much smoother, but the 1897 is a beauty. Guns like this make if hard for me to embrace polymers, etc., although I get their practicality is superior.

.38 Colt caliber Colt 1877 DA revolver. I need to find an ejector rod, ejector rod shroud and spring. The action doesn't work and I've yet to disassemble it to figure out why.
