wow, Ruffneck, you're taking this thread awfully personal lol.

no, never worked in the gun industry.

i wouldn't care if someone knocked a gun i own either, everyone's got a right to their opinion, doesn't bother me.

glad to hear you like your kimber. if i bought one, it would probably be a raptor, i think those are the nicest looking ones-they seem to have the least issues too (maybe because they come out of the custom shop at kimber?)

but that's IF i were to buy one. for less money than the raptor, i would rather have a dan wesson bobtail-now that's hand fitted from the ground up.

Real Mags-why do you continue to whine?

do you ever write any pertinent posts?

you can say "i don't like para usa or springfield armory 1911's" (which i own), and i wouldn't care if you said that because everyone can express their opinion-one of the benefits of living in america:D

What good is an uneducated opinion S&W? You speak from statistics and not from experience therefore your opinion is not valued by me and I am sure a few others feel the same way. I see the forum as a good tool to view other's first hand experience with their firearms. When you shoot from the hip or use internet driven statistics it really deminishes the credibilty and usefullness of the forum. You know the saying about opinions dont you youngun?

if consumers told you they have problems with a certain product and dealers told you they stopped selling them for the same reason-would you buy one??

and i never referred to internet statistics, just people i've talked too (you should actually READ my posts).

does it make sense now, REAL MAGS?

Your reply is that of a child....you do not like the question/response so you respond with a personal attack.

As to post, a quick look yours sound like you are trying to get a cheering section to agree with your personal decisions.

They are just that personal decisons, everyone has one.

WEISSE52-i believe i already addressed the issue of free expression in my previous posts, you might wanna try actually reading my posts-it'll save you the trouble of making uninformed comments.

your reply is that of a rather clueless person:confused:

Can we lock this already? We (myself included) seem to no longer be talking about the reliability and function of Kimbers, and S&W won't answer whether or not he has even shot one.

over a 100 posts and almost 2,000 views, my threads are the bomb diggety

don't think you'll get your way this time-boohoo

ok here's you're all important answer-yes, i've fired a kimber before lol (and no it wasn't life changing)

i don't what model, it was a 3" two-tone (which ended up developing a cracked frame after only 1,000 rounds).

a buddy of mine at the range let me shoot. shot accurately enough though & looked nice too, but that frame crack thing sure is a turnoff.

(this is the same one i referred to in my very first post)

My Ultra Carry II did not need a break in period. The thing has been perfect in function, and fit and finish are very good. It did come compleat with a junk mag, however. I would get slide lock on a partial full mag, but that went away with some Wilson mags;) I didn't think $680 shipped was a bad price for a NIB 1911, either.
