What's up with ORANGE grips on Colt 2nd, 3rd gen BP revolvers?

Double post, sorry.
You know, with a better understanding of natural made shellac those orange grips are really starting to grow on me. I really think there should at least be a limited production run with the tiger paw as pictured below to honor Val Forgett, the father of the replica firearms industry and founder of Navy Arms Company, who was also an alum of Clemson University (mechanical engineering).
