H335 for loading large numbers of cases. For special use ammo, other powers are required. I always have H335, Benchmark, Varget and IMR4895 in my stash.
For accuracy in the AR, Reloader 7 is doing well and I just fired a few groups with the new Hodgon's powder CFE223, shows excellent promise but need more testing.
In all I've used h322, h335,h4895,Blc2,V133, Varget and Benchmark honestly with the 223 difficult to find a bad powder.
I like 24Gr under the Sierra 65Gr SPBT. This is Sierra's best game bullet according to many. It's always sold out when I go to stock up.
I did buy a pound of Hodgdon's CFE 223 to try. Ramshot shows a heavy load of TAC that's faster than CFE 223 but the CFE .223 is supposed to get the 150Gr .308 up to 3,000fps or so. I want to see if it really reduces copper fouling and ups the .308 to 30-06 speeds.
I've always wanted a miracle powder that upped velocities, reduced recoil and cleaned my gun at the same time. Maybe CFE .223 is the one I've been waiting for.
Benchmark. Great powder, easy metering, very accurate results. I prefer single base powders; they burn cooler, are less temperature sensitive, and they last longer (in storage conditions.)
0.75" groups for 5 shots at 100 yards out of my 1-9 twist .223 AR.

I'm newbie 223 reloader. I've been using H335 for anything less than 62gr. I've had excellent results with Noslers 60gr BTBT and H335 out of my DPMS 24" 1-8. I've been able to get consistent 1/3 to 1/2 MOA groups (more an issue with the shooter and not the bullet/powder combo).
I've had good results with Varget and the heavier bullets. I've tried the 69gr SMK and the 75gr Hornady HPBT.
I've heard lots of good things and IMR 8208 XBR and the heavier bullets. I've got a pound, but need to get some loads made to try it out.
My "AR Powder" is AA2230. Started using it when H335 got scarce and 8# jugs of AA2230 were less than $100 and the shelves were full of it.
It meters great, burns clean, and has always been available. The price has gone up some but I get over 2,000 rounds per 8 pounder. Less than 7 cents per round for powder.
