More guns are offered worldwide in this caliber than any other that I can think of. If you could only have one, which would it be, make & model. And why is it your choice?

I'll start. My current favorite is the Browning P35Hi Power.

Reasons, it fits my hand well, is 100% reliable, all the controls are similar to my 1911s.

My BHP does feel nice in the hand but my SIG 225 shoots a whole lot better. Thats what makes it my favorite.

Its gotta be a CZ-75. For me they just feel rightl. More carry options than an HP ( which I like as well ). I think the CZ's are more accurate out of the box than just about any other 9mm with the exception of megabuck guns like the SIG 210. My next purchase is going to be a CZ-75!

I'm a career LEO and my agency requires DAO handguns. I have a S&W Model 5946 and a Model 92D Beretta. I like 'em because they closely duplicate the DA revolvers I started out carrying. Both are accurate and super-reliable.

My Sig P225 is my favorite 9mm. Fits my hand like a glove, shoots accurate, smooth DA/SA, and reliable.

Current favorite 9 mm handgun is my USP 9 w/ match trigger because it has been 100% reliable, has been very accurate & is a lot of fun to shoot.

Now depending on when you ask or when I read this thread again, my answer could include my Beretta 92 Centurion or my HK P7M8.

My favorite is the Glock (any caliber). It sits in my hand so naturally, and I shoot it better than any other semiauto I've ever had the pleasure of snapping a cap with. It is also the most reliable handgun I've ever known. And it is simplicity itself.

Hello. Well, if I could only have one 9mm pistol, it would be my current favorite general purpose 9mm, a Browning HP. I'm not at all sure which BHP it would be, though! I have a couple and like them all quite a lot.

The reasons are:

1. The feel is "right" for me.

2. The ones I have will group well with loads they "like."

3. They are reliable.

4. I can hit with them in either slow-fire or at speed.

5. They just plain have a sort of panache about them.

Best.

Depends on what for. My favorite 9mm for shooting is a SIG P210, now that I had a beavertail welded up to keep it from drawing blood. My favorite to carry is a Kahr P9 Covert or MK9. My favorite to show off is a SIG P226 Sport or Browning GP Comp because a lot of people have not seen them.

If I could only have one...

It would be a HKP7M13. They are just so uber-cool looking.

Of all the 9mm's that I currently own, my newest Glock 19 would fill the "favorite" bill quite nicely. I think that Bushrat just did a great job of summing up my feelings about this gun. It must be a Glock thing. :D

It's my particular Kel Tec P-11.

I've modified the trigger to have a 6.5# pull, 0.55" travel measured from the center, and with trigger travel beginning in the middle of the guard and ending just short of the grip. Consequently, it's a perfect DAO trigger, IMO.

The gun is totally reliable and a lot of fun to shoot especially when outshooting the high dollar gun owners who snicker when I bring it out. :)

Really, my only uses for a handgun are SD and HD. I don't compete and the M1991A1 gets boring after a while since I don't compete or carry it.

Since I'm totally comfortable with the P-11, and it's comfortable to carry, it would be have the top shot at being my favorite 9 anyway. To clinch it, I had more fun modifying it than I thought possible, so why wouldn't it be the fav?

JUST ME

My (first) Witness has been tweaked; it fits me. It displays awesome accuracy (thank you Nowlin and Mr. Cogan).
It has been uncannily reliable (it always works if the round fits the chamber) in over 25,000 attempts to make it fail. It has digested some truly stupid test loads.
It is flat perfect

for me.

Toss up between the SIG P228 and P226, although that means I have to give up the Kahr also. :(

beretta 92g "elite" model.i shot both the sig 226 and this beretta.beretta shot just as accuratly at a cheaper purchase price.

My Glock 19 has always handled any task asked of it. I know there are higher priced guns out there but the G19 works for me. It is a quality firearm, as are most out there today. I shoot well with it and it fires every time I pull the trigger. What more does one need?

Truth be known, I think one would be well served with any of the modern well made 9mms on the market. As long as one stays away from the "junk" guns everything should be fine.

I would have to go with any of my Beretta 92's.Reliability sold me years ago on them. They will eat anything you feed them and they just go bang everytime. They fit my hand very well and I'm a larger person(6'6"-200lbs) so the weight and size are not an issue.Like myself they are very sexy with classic lines and chicks dig guys that have sexy guns.

Well hey you did ask!:D
