What is your favorite knife? which ones do you want? I really like my Randall Airman.

EDC folders are a Benchmade 806D2, Benchmade 975SBT and sometimes a Benchmade RUKUS. I have a thing for BM's to say the least. For a defensive fixed blade I use a Polkowski Kasper Bulldog. Other favorites though not carried all that much are a Vorpal Ranger from Bobby Branton, a custom Koi Bowie from Burchtree Blades, Randall model 14, and several custom pieces from JSP Bladerigger. I also collect older Benchmade\Pacific Cutlery Balisongs. As for new stuff, there isn't too much else out there that really strikes my interest right now.

May favorite by far is my CUDA Maxx. But then, I don't own as many knives as a lot of people here. . . truth be told, I don't own as many knives as the dogs of a lot of members of this forum. ;)

The Sebenza got me out of the knife buying cycle. It's been my EDC for nearly two years now. I haven't purchased a new knife since.

I'm torn between HI WWII 16.5" and Shane Justice Soldier's Knife.

I own a lot of knives

and the one that lives in my pocket and has for about 10 years, I don' even know it's been so long, is a Bench Made Emerson CQC-7. Its an old design, but I love it and it has served me well.

Of the ones I currently have:
Fav Locker: Winchester 3" linerlock from Wally World (mine came from the pawn shop). The 2.5 isn't bad either! Made by Gerber.

Fav Slipjoint: Taylor S&W Sheephorn Handle
I don't carry it- to nice. I carry a Buck 373.

My favorite is my Bark River Knife and Tool Woodland.
Most used is my EDC Benchmade Mini Griptilian (556)

Which ones do I really want?
My Swamp Rat Howling Rat that I ordered back in February.
A Ranger RD9
and a custom drop point in D2 or O1 steel with 4" blade and micarta slabs.

Right now, my favorite knife, regardless the price or practicality, is the Randall Bowie, E. Model 12 "The Smithsonian Bowie":

It looks most like a Bowie to me(even though I don't know much about them, just read the article on wikipedia), sans the guard, which should look like an "S", as in wiki's picture:

Randall's this Bowie model is not just long, but also wide and thick(and heavy, too), and to my eyes it is proportionally correct and pleasing to be called a Bowie. Too bad I think they want some $500+ for a copy, and you need wait for like a couple of years to get one. Oh, well, if it were affordable or practical, it ain't a dream knife no more...

My favorite? - Has to be a pocketknife with different uses. Right now I have a Swiss Army Knife I carry all the time.

I just ordered one of these babies from Camillus, should be here next week :D:

Figger'd 'bout time I bought something more American. Besides - we need to encourage this sort of knife production in the US anyhow. I used to have an old Remington like this only it had two blades, a saw, can opener and a screwdriver/bottle-opener. Stopped making that model....

Anyhow, I also have a Buck Model 120 Sheath knife that they stopped making too (now they only make the model 119). Dad gave it to me and he's had it since before I was an itch in his pants. Thats my favorite sheath knife.

Gerber Applegate-Fairbairn Covert folder - daily carry.
Overall favourite - Peter Bauchop custom tanto.

Any 3 to 4 inch auto-opener with a good blade - MicroTech or comparable knock-off. Pocketable for every day carry, and instantly ready for use.

Ive got a spyderco folder with ceramic blade and dispite the bad press that these have had, I still think it's great.

Also like my LM Wave.....

and the hand-made Kukuri my buddy bought back from Nepal for me:)

And..........

How can you pick just one?

I only have a few knives and am not very knowledgeable, but this recent aquisition sparks me:

I've got a few I like a lot. I used to collect, or should I say accumulate knives.

I have two Microtechs I really find useful, a Mini Tanto manual, and a Socom mini/serrated/blasted that isn't manual :)

I also have a Hubertus Guardian, and a Beltrame ATS-34 Stilleto with olive handles, and host of others... pics are not mine...

Buck Ranger.
I've had the 3'' Buck folder since college and have used it to skin and cut up almost all the deer I've killed. Also used it to butcher small game.

It was carried routinely in my pocket for years. I only replaced it with something lighter after I started hauling more stuff around in my pockets.

Frandy, very nice looking knife there.

My favorite for the past several months has been my Hideaway knife. It gets used several times a day and other than that I forget I'm even carrying it, which is nice because I hate having things in my pockets.

favorite knife is definetly my kabar fighting knife with a 7 in blade. sharp as hell as has skinned tons of animals. not a better knife just cant carry it everywhere with you
