I'll have to say that the M58 .41magnum is my favorite revolver.
This one is from 1964, a former San Francisco PD issue. And the M15 is a close 2nd, also a former PD carry revolver, this one dao.

+1 S&W 620

Stoked with 125 gr. JHP's. Smooth trigger, lots of noise, painless recoil and just a tad lighter than big bro 686-7.

This is a GREAT lineup! I have a Colt (2nd Gen) 3rd Dragoon. I LOVE it. Cleanup is messy, though... I'll take it out this summer I think.

For fun, a Model 34 Nickel, 4" .22 LR

For Carry Colt Mustang

Nightstand..Browning Hi-Power and Ruger GP 100

My favorite revolver ? hmmmm a tossup between my S&W 686 4" and my S&W 629 6-1/2" PP. I kinda feel the recoil from the 4" .357 magnum is pretty much the same as the recoil from the 6-1/2"ported .44 magnum. :scrutiny:

Tough call I'm thinking.

1.Freedom Arms Model 83 454 Casull.
2. S&W Model 66
3. S&W Model 29 or 629
4. S&W Model 686

Very Easy Answer For Me

My S&W Model 65-3 .357 "K" Frame. As crisp and accurate as when I bought her in '87. Manufactured in '85.

Take Care

favorite revolver

I just found this site today. So you like an SW?
Very cool.
I am in the market to buy my very first hand gun and am interested in all opinions.
Silly me wants a big scary silver colored handgun--like Vic (The Shield on TV)
has.
But being 5 ft. and 98 pounds, it is probably not the most appropriate type gun for me.
But I want serious stopping power as I deal in a cash-intensive biz. No, I am not a drug dealer.
Any ideas?

That's an easy one - my S&W K-22 Masterpiece. Best feel, best trigger by far, very accurate.

I would have to go with Mal and the guys who answered K-22 Masterpiece. It don't get no better than that.

A large bore holster pistol would have to be the Model 29 .44 Magnum. Again, they don't get any better, imho. :)

HOW TO CHOOSE?

I just love this question when I see it. I really enjoy all the opinions. It's tough to single out just one favorite, but this one I've owned the longest (33 yrs.) so it has to be a favorite. ;)

Then I really enjoy this one.

For Bullseye I find this to be very accurate.

Then I just hate to leave this one out. I use this in IDPA matches.

Then again I love the N Frame Snubbies like these.

I guess that it is whatever Smith I have in my hand at the time. :D

OH JEEZ! I forgot about this one. Have to get this one in too!!
