Whats your genre

I despise clay pigeons with extreme prejudice, and try to kill every one that tries to escape. The bulk of my shooting has been directed toward them...but I enjoy my handguns, lever actions, and black powder too.
The black powder guns have earned a good deal of my interest lately.

I love anything that fires a useful round, collecting/shooting/owning/trading is like crack to me :D

But among my preferences;
Military weapons
Hunting/Survival/SD

So what is yours? What style are you drawn to?
My problem is that I can't settle on any one style or type of firearm.

Long-range bolt actions, semi-auto military rifles, conceled carry pistols, tactical shotguns, single-shot hunting pistols, classic lever action rifles, side by side shotties, muzzle loading rifles and revolvers. They all appeal to me and which one is at the top of my list will vary from day to day.

Makes it damn hard to decide where to spend my firearms dollars, I tell ya! :banghead:

My first love is shotguns since I grew up hunting small game. Since joining a club with great shotgun facilities {skeet, 5 stand and trap} I'm all about killing the clays.
I've also become much more interested in handguns in the past few years. I've been bitten by the 1911 bug......;)
I have 7 of JMB's designs, and would like to get into some WW2 rifles someday.

I guess if I had to narrow it down to one interest, it would be .22 handguns - Colt Woodsmans, S&W K-22s, Ruger MKs.

Most anything that can be used safely by left handed people. Safeties that are ambidextrous are preferred. Some eject spent casings and hit you in the top of the head. Bolt action can be quite awkward. 10% of the population is left handed.

I shoot left handed, and the only type of firearm I have ever felt uncomfortable with was a sidelock muzzleloader, and given practice I think you will find you can work a right handed bolt action just as fast or faster than most right handed shooters.

My problem is that I can't settle on any one style or type of firearm.

I have the same problem, although mine is limited more toward the single shot/lever action/ single action/blackpowder styles. And yes it is horrible trying to decide which to buy

Anything I can conceal and carry, long range rifles, Colts, ..... Really about anything that goes bang... wish I could win lotto so I could buy more! LOL... Oh, gotta play to win and I don't play....

Handguns, mostly CCW/self defense oriented semi-auto pistols. I also like older revolvers as collector/occasional shooting pieces. I also have a strong interest in carry gear, i.e., holsters and belts. The above sections are where you will find probably 95% of my posts. I don't get excited about rifles for some reason, and have little interest in shotguns.

Semi auto rifles. I like them all, M1a's and Garands, M1 carbines, AR, AK, SKS, M1907 Winchester, PTR91, mini 14/30, pretty much any type of semi auto rifle.

I buy everything and anything if I have the cash and it strikes my fancy BUT my heart lies in lever action rifles, single action revolvers and 1911's. I also like semi auto rifles, specifically .22's, sks's, and mini14/30's. Of course I also like shotguns....I guess i'm just all over the place!!!

I only have 4 handguns now.

1911 ... because I learned to shoot with it.

Bersa ... because I have owned 2 before moving to the USA

Snub nose ruger .357 , because a relative of mine had one, and when I tried it I hit that spent soda can time after time.

4 inch .44 magnum ... I lusted after one after an buddy of mine carried one all the time and he let me shoot it.

So it is emotional memory to me.

Had many others but I have settled on my choices.
