A trailer on the side of a shaded hill. Hot tub on the front porch. Out back is a reloading shed and a 100 yard range. Shade tree will have a tire swing in honor of something that can never happen.

Oh, you mean guns. Classic BAR and a deuce and 1/2 brimming full of factory fresh ammo. My back up would be a Thompson with another deuce and 1/2 loaded with 45 ACP.

"A take down Savage 99 in 308" gonna be looking for a long time, Savage never produced these. The takedowns only exist in the short version, Savage had to stretch the action a few hundredths to get the longer .308 to eject when unfired. Thus, your only options are 250 3000, 300 savage, 22 Hi power, 303 savage, 30 30, 32 40, and perhaps 38-55.

My holy grail might be a .358 lever safety safety 99.

a mini uzi with a can could be it too

an NIB MG 34 would be pretty high on the list.

Another vote for an MP5 in 10mm.

A S&W 1046 to complete the Smith 10mm auto collection.

A WW II era Thompson with da switch. :D

enough money to start my own arms company (F-TAC, Flint Tactical Arms Company)(but I guess that would include a full machine shop).

on the arms side of it, hhhmmm.

very diverse want list

from a beretta double rifle in 9.3x74 (an express ss06 to be exact)
to an authentic first production AR-18
and a hundred other rifles

1. Registry Model .357 Smith & Wesson
2. Colt Woodsman
3. WWII-era M1 Carbine, paratrooper model

I've already picked up a couple of my Grail items with the exception of:

A nice, but shootable S&W Triplelock .44Spl

I want a Springfield Armory (the original Springfield Armory) M1911, circa 1914, in mint condition, if you please.

For now, though, I would be very, very happy with a nice Sistema, with Air Force winged crest, preferably.

A german Vierling in 12x12x9.3x22lr
One really expensive piece of work for all your hunting needs

"This is how with a few simple modifications you can turn one gun into 5 guns."

A blued, 3 1/2 inch Smith & Wesson pre-Model 27 made in 1953. I want it in excellent condition but not new so I can shoot it. Find it for me Wild, please.

P.S. Do you think you could find it really cheap?

Mine would be a GA Precision in .308 or .300 WSM, teflon'd green, with a McMillan A5 stock 50% green, 25% brown, 25% tan swirl, Badger rail and rings, and a Nightforce 5.5-22X50 on top. And a Jet supressor, if it ain't too much to ask. :D

For more than one firearm, I'd have to say any and all five screw Smith and Wessons, in pristine condition.

For one gun, and one only?

Drake National Match 1911 pistol.

38Super_O2071ELC2.jpg

"OVERVIEW
The .38 Super was introduced in 1929 in the famous Colt Government Model 1911 auto pistol. At the time of its introduction the .38 Super was the most powerful auto pistol cartridge in the world. Colt is the only major American gun maker who has produced .38 Super pistols. The .38 Super is one of the most powerful and flat-shooting cartridges available for auto-loading pistols. "

That's what I want. Getting one in MA would be no small feat.

Regards
John
