What's Your Longest Long Rifle?

My Mosin 91/30 is my longest, especially with bayonet attached.

I also have an old Targetmaster 22lr with a 28" barrel. That is pretty long for a 22.

A two way toss up

My two that are close in overall length are an 1891 Mosin Nagant and a custom 1874 Sharpes reproduction with a long heavy octagon barrel.
Now if a bayonet is added its no contest.:D

When I got my M91/30 ex-sniper, I decided to try clearing my house with it :D . Even without the bayonet, it's really hard and there were several pies that proved impossible to slice :uhoh: . I remember thinking "Man, I'm glad I don't have to do this in Stalingrad. I'd want a Ppsh-41!"

I have a French Officer's Fusil that Ron Scott built up for me using parts from Jess Melot at The Rifle Shoppe.

It would appear that I am, ahem, currently living out my repressed fantasies better than any of y'all. The barrel alone is 44" long. It is a Colerain barrel in .58 smoothbore (also known as 24 gauge). At my current 5'7" (and slowly shrinking) it poses a bit of a problem to load, but it does handle very nicely.

1873 Martini that my son shipped back from Afghanistan......1260mm long, with bayonet another 380mm, total 1640mm long.

Have not measured everything, There is a 1885 Browning BPCR at 30", Swedish Mauser, Swiss 1911, Swiss Vetterli model of 1871, and a 36Cal. flintlock, southern mountain style. I like long barrels. esp my Marlin 1895 Cowboy with 26" barrel.
