When someone mentions what is considered to be a reasonably nice pistol in the context of "never buy", my curiosity pegs the gotta-ask-why meter. I have one, and I wouldn't sell it or trade it for anything.

Or, it's not ergonomically suitable. I prefer a different grip angle myself. I don't hate Glocks, I just don't want one.
So what's the difference between the grip angle of the 1911 that you own and a Glock?
Anything with a flappy trigger safety, but especially glock for popularizing the stupid thing. There's a handful of pistols I would love to own but never will because I can't stand those stupid triggers.
