Any Beretta. I have a SSA by Beretta now that I bought used; made in 2006. Besides being Beretta, it also has a transfer bar. This was my first and is the last Beretta I will ever have unless it's given to me free to turn in for a gun buy back.

The transfer bar and/or hammer drop is screwed up. When I contacted Beretta, I was informed that their warranty is only for one year from purchase new and only for the original purchaser. Sorry Beretta, but if your product is such junk that you won't stand behind it, you can keep it.

Glock. I've handled and shot a G19. The trigger is nice. But I have a couple issues. The grip angle leaves a bit to be desired. And I take issue with Gaston's choice in associates and friends. When I have the extra cash I'll build one from Lone Wolf. And their frame looks miles better than the Glock piece.

I'd also never buy a M2. 50BMG is too expensive to waste on a MG, and the M82 and AS50 are both far more interesting weapons to own.

While I own and carry a flawless pt111 I completely understand your position. And I agree.

I bought a PT845 after having great luck with my PT111, Man that 845 was the biggest hunk of crap I ever shot. IT was dead on acurate but would not go through amag with out at least 5 failures to feed. I sent it to the factory for repair three times, after the third it worked fine until the ambi slide lock broke. After sending it in to have the fixed (Trip #4) it came back and started witht he failure to feed again. Sold it and will never give taurus another dime of my money.

Its a shame too. I like the frame mounted safety on the PT92 as oppsed to the slide mounted safety on the Beretta which is backwards as in up to fire down to safe.

I have been fortunate to have been issued or owned various quality firearms such as glocks, sigs, and S & Ws. I am curious, what Taurus guns are disasters? I have only owned a PT22 and a Model 82 .38 special. Both worked fine, granted they are essentially imitations of better guns, - so which Taurus guns are bad? They seem to have a lot of innovative stuff on the market, I have just never owned or shot them.

Cant speak for all their guns or even other 845's however my 845 after 4 trips back to the factory still would not make it through a magazine without several failures to feed.

I'l buy anything except a hi-point or any other gun known to explode. I've talked to many a person who has ended up with various parts of a hipoint lodged in there cranium.

I know a guy who can **** turnips. I have my doubts.

I would never buy any gun that has had someone complain about it on the internet. Other than that, I will buy it.

Seriously, I tend to buy what other family members have owned and what trusted friends have owned. I don't venture too far from that.

I was the first in the family to try a CZ 75 family pistol and now its qualities and reputation are spreading inside my family circle.

I cant remember if I posted on this one or not. Maybe I did but Im going to again.

1. AR-15's. Do not enjoy that kind of gun. I dont really have a purpose for it and would not enjoy the maintenance. Not my cup of tea.

2. Single Action Revolvers. I would and do own them as investments but not as shooters. Not interested at all.

3. Anything jiminez/Bryco/Jennings/Lorcin type gun.

To clarify, even though the AR-15 doesn't have the classic wood with metal, it is a military rifle, has aperture sights and uses some of the lowest-cost centerfire ammo (Russian). These are the only factors which appeal to me. Other types do not.

If a full-length AR in very good condition Were somehow available in west TN for $300, I would then decide to buy a first AR.

I don't feel that I get a good grip on the Glocks or Springfiels "XD" series, so those are pretty far down on the buy list.

Used to be another Hi-Point basher, untill I shot some of their offerings. I appreciate Hi-Points for what they are..Low cost handguns and carbines that go Bang! on request, and put the lead where you aim, or Hi-Point fixes it for free.

Wouldn't buy an RG/Rohm. Had a couple of their .22LR's years ago, if those were "Bass Fiddles", couldn't hit a bull elephant in the butt with them. Now, I did inherit a snubby RG .38Spl from my late father-in-law, and with wadcutters or light Cowboy loads, shoots OK.....however, would not buy one. also, would NOT EVER put a "+P" load in it.

Any EAA product. New Witness Match pigbellied the brass so bad a fired case would not drop back into chamber. Customer service said that was factory spec and there was nothing wrong with it. I could send in but I had to pay shipping both ways and the gun was NIB when I bought it the week before.

I've never been tempted to buy a Jimenez, but I guess it is a never buy gun for me - as well as products from all the previous iterations of the company.

I've never been tempted to buy a Hi Point, maybe if I had no guns and only $200 - I might buy one.

I have been tempted to get a Taurus, especially the 905, which most people seem to have good luck with, but whenever I get close to maybe picking one up - I'll read about someone's really horrible experience with the company and the temptation passes.
