My father died suddenly a little over a year ago, he actually dropped dead in the middle of a conversation. (This is still a little hard for me) Today I was looking through the things that were in his pocket when he died. He was quite pack rat and always had all kinds of different things on him.

Anyway, that got me to thinking about what would be found on me if I were to suddenly die. So I emptied my pockets and took a photo of the things that are almost always (99% of the time) with me.

- S&W 36 loaded and ready (I always have this with me even when I am packing my Kimber)
- cell phone
- iPod
- Zeiss 5X monocular
- Gerber folder
- my favorite Italian pipe
- pipe tamper
- my Zippo pipe lighter that has never failed me
- tobacco pouch
- pen

*missing from the photo is my wallet, holster and two speed strips that I forgot to take out of my shirt pocket.

Not only are these things always with me, but they are some of my favorite things as well.

What do you have in your pockets?

:neener:

Wallet
Small Gerber folder
$.35 in change
Receipt from grocery store
Five pieces of 9mm. brass. So much for good precautions with lead.

Wallet, coins, a note that I wrote earlier but makes absolutely no sense now, and a smooth rock that appealed to me today.

Interesting! :)

Front left: Truck & house keys, pre-issue WV quarter "lucky piece."
Front right: small yellow Buck penknife, mini-butane lighter, LED flashlight.
Rear right: Wallet
Belt at 8:30: M60 in a Hume IWB.
Right vest pocket: McDonald's monopoly piece for a free cup of coffee.

Front left: Wallet. It's always there and if its not, I know instantly

Front right: Keys, including a Leatherman Micra tool. These are also always there or I know it instantly. Also whatever pocket change I have on me goes here.

These two things are like parts of my body, it feels really weird when they're missing. The only exceptions are when I'm driving, opening a lock, paying for something or sleeping.

I don't carry a knife on me anymore except for the Leatherman. I have a bad habit of leaving expensive folders on the ground near where I'm working on something. My Kershaws, Gerbers and Bucks are all drawer or toolbox queens now.

I do not have a CCW, so no firearms in my pockets

Wallet, keys, $1.13 in change, 4 pieces of Wrigley's Big Red, box cutter with the single dullest razor blade in history (seriously, I doubt it would cut water), 2 rubber bands, and about a half pound of lint.
Not in pockets, but always with me: Springfield .45 XD Tactical, cell phone, and the chunk of burnt and charred steel lag bolt that is currently serving as the key to the trash compactor at work.

One pair of sunglasses - black, one hat - black, one new condom......one soiled.

I dunno how people get by with so much crap in their pockets. If I'm out of the house, it's wallet, cell phone, keys, and gun if possible. Inside the house, all the stuff comes off.

You won't have anything in your pockets because by the time you die the government will have picked you clean. :D

Cell Phone

Can of Wintergreen Skoal

Beat up Switchblade I have had forever

Keys

Perpetually in my pockets?

Left Front- house/car keys w/ P38 and trigger lock keys
Store Issue OSHA-rated Right hand S3 box-cutter w/ extra blade

Right front- Lint, $2 and odd amout of change, usually with at least
one useless Canadian coin.

Right rear- Wallet

Left Rear- security stickers that set off alarms when i forget to take them out
Comb, sometimes
work project-pad paper, slightly crumpled, supposed to have
been turned in at end of day.

My fifth pocket used to get all kinds of things, but since they forced me to wear dress-style work-pants, there is no fifth pocket to collect things on.

I can easily hear what the cops would say over my cold corpse..
"Who's the stiff?"
"Apparently a retail worker. Poor shmuck's better off dead."

442 in RH pants pocket. MTM 6-ctg flat ammo wallet in LH front, along with some change and keys. LR, wallet. Belt, Swiss knife with 25 (?) yrs and 1 million miles on it. Also a cell phone.

Nada mas unless a belt gun comes along.
