Hey folks, like the title states. Let's help each other (and especially new gun owners who might be caught with zero stock) out and maybe give them some ideas of places to check.
This is not a "sky is falling" complaining freak out thread.
It is in the vein of a similar thread helping folks to find reloading gear in that area of the forum.
To kick things off:
Farm king: I've been finding Georgia arms 9mm 124 gr jhp for 17/50
Also 38 158 gr swc
Seems to have a good stock
Walmart : in my area every Walmart has cci 22lr and many others (555 value packs Winchester etc)
Of course shotgun, rifle
Prices seem reasonable
Gander outdoor has been pretty reliable it varies on when you go, and there are none terribly near to me! Shelves and shelves of 40 sw fmj.
The location in Marion IL had had 45, 357, 38, 410 handgun, 45 colt
Rural king, also usually will have a good variety.
Prices have not reflected the numbers I've seen folks post here.
Anyway. If you're in IL and looking for a caliber I can let you know where I've seen it. Maybe we can get folks posting for different states.
