Where do you get your bullets?

Oregon Trail makes the finest cast Bullets, of them all and prices are very fair.
It's hard to beat Barry's for plated .45acp Bullets.

I buy direct from the manufacturer. No reason to pay a mark up when buying from Midway, Cabella's, Etc.

I buy all of my plated bullets direct from Xtreme when they are on sale. My coated bullets from Bayou which has $14.00 shipping up to 70 pounds (have 3300 135g RN 9mm in the pipeline).

I cast the vast majority of my handgun bullets, literally thousands per year. For plated bullets, I buy directly from Berry's, and jacketed bullets are from RMR, Montana Gold, Nosler, Winchester and Hornady.

Rifle bullets are normally Hornady, Remington (.45-70) and Speer.

Hope this helps.

Fred

I shoot a lot of Berry bullets.

Cabelas has a great price on them online right now. Just picked up 2 boxes of 500 rounds for my 223 for $35 a box.

For jacketed, I like Nosler Sporting Handgun, which I get from Nosler or Midway depending on price and availability. Once in a while, direct from Nosler is significantly cheaper. Maybe they had backstock that wasn't moving.

For lead, I usually try this guy:
http://westernbullet.com/castbullets.html
Shipping can be slow, and he only offers one sizing die per caliber, but if they work for your bore, he has some unusual molds and good prices. I think he says his handgun bullets are 12 BHN; no idea what his rifle alloy is. Mostly true plain-base bullets and some real Keith designs, not bevel-base bullets and short-nosed SWCs falsely labeled "Keith" like some casters.

RimRock and SNS Casting are my two primary bullet sources, and Bayou is a close third. IMO coated bullets are the way to go in most of the calibers I load for, but RimRock has a 200 wadcutter in .44 that is lights-out accurate in my Super Redhawk.

Rifle bullets, it varies. Pistol bullets, I finally settled on X-treme.

Xtreme when they run a sale and/or offer free shipping. I don't find their shipping times slow. It's not Amazon but the boxes tend to be heavy.

and what about brass? I am in need of some 357 brass (about 100-200)

Buy direct from Starline.

I get my bullets from...

Berry (plated, mostly auto pistol bullets)
Missouri (cast, mostly revolver bullets)
Brownell's/Sinclair and Midway (rifle bullets when on sale)
My shop (cast/powder coated handgun bullets)

They offer THR members a 5% discount with the code.
Great people to do business with.
I also get bullets from Missouri bullet company. They also offer THR members a 5% discount with the code.
(codes in the start of BDSs PIF thread)

Both are great to do business with.

Cabela's is running a big sale on Berry's and Xtreme bullets right now, today is the last day for $5 shipping.

I bought 1000 180 grain 40 cal X-treme bullets for $101 shipped.

Why are the promo codes so secret? I have been searching for the MBC promo code and can't find it.
