Where is Jim Scoutten?

His new show was announced to air about August 2003 on OLN. Now, January 2004: nothing!

Do they play hide and seek with him as they did at TNN? The Bicycle Channel doesn't seem to have some interest. Once in a while, with no pattern, they show "Shotgun" and reruns of "American Shooter".

That's it.

As Jim was around here sometimes, I'd wait for a little more time and then, I'll ask you to ask OLN what's going on.

I've the dull feeling they think we are a neglectible section of society.

It's more complicated than that.

My understanding is that OLN was ready to air the shows, but none were provided to be aired.

Meanwhile, it seems that Mr. Scoutten is doing the host/MC function on Benelli's American Safari as well as advertisements for Federal Ammunition.

It's looking more and more like Shooting USA is never going to happen...

That's funny....one of the bicycling forums I frequent referst to OLN as the "fishin" or "huntin" this time of year. Seems like OLN has very little cycling interest this time of year, I sure as hell wish they would show some cyclocross!!!!! (www.cyclocrossworld.com)

Hey Atc1man, I think I may have more into my bikes than my guns also. I would love to see more winter biking on OLN, I love riding my mtn. bike in the snow.
To get back on topic, I haven't seen Mr. Scouten on here for awhile, an update on the shows would sure be in order.........tom

Kudos to you both! Both my wife and son bike race (road and cyclocross) and our passion next to hunting and shooting, is the racing .....OLN rules! for covering both!

His website doesn't seem to be updated. I would guess that the show is on hold.. Maybe the market prospects changed as new shows entered the market??

...I think he's presently in the past...all I ever see of him is on re-runs
I wish this new show would get rolling! Even my wife knows the dialog to all the American Shooter shows!

OLN has more #@%$#&# bull riding than anything else. How can there be that much bull riding going on? I mean, it's on 5 nights a week, you can only complain about "too much cycling" in July and then I'll argue that you oughta be happy to see an American beat the French at their own game, on their turf!!
OLN needs to do a survey, IMNSHO!
Ok, I'm calm now.
And, yeah, I want to see some new shows like American Shooter.
