Hi everyone. Here is the deal. I am going to stay with friends in New Buffalo, MI which is very close to Indiana. Since I can't shoot any class 3 goodies in Illinois, I figured this would be a chance to try it out. So where should I go?
So far I have found Midwest Gun and Range in Elkhart, but they are almost an hour away and seem to be expensive(I expected that though). Looks like it would be $50+ammo for a machine gun (full auto MP5) and that would have a 200 round limit and is their machine gun special.
The other place I found is Class 3 Sales in New Carlisle. They don't say on their website if they rent or give any prices and no one answered the phone.
So if you have shot at any of these places or know of any other places let me know. Also-there would be 2 or 3 shooters. It would be a 17 y/o and his father(~50) and maybe our friend (also ~50). Are there any special requirements for shooting a class 3 weapon? I called Midwest and they said that it was ok for the 17 y/o as long as the father was there.
