Why not a 9? Try shooting an LC9 (about the same size as the G42) and than shoot the G42 and that should answer the question.yeah stumper... i've had the question why not a 9...

anyway that kind of brought up another question ... he ask how i wanted to carry the G42... i hadn't thought about that yet.. was on line today an punched in holsters.. OhBoy ,.. how an what are all ya all carrying.. ???????
I have never had an unwanted double tap with a Bersa.
This is the first time I have heard of this phenomina. Has anyone else had this happen?
Yes that is probably why since Aperently based on the response here no one else has had this happen. It might be my grip combined with the very short trigger reset. I just rewatched a video of shooting plates from 2013. I was having trouble with the 380CC sights at 45 feet and was shooting low and was using the plates to work on a stable grip so the pistol returns to level after recoil and only letting the trigger out to reset for a faster second shot.
I had three unintentional double taps that day. The camera fell over on the one that hit the falling plate. The other two times I missed the plate and hit the deflection bar on the first DA shot and second unintentional SA shot. I can chop down the video, but all you see is the rack and hear the ding ding.
The next time I will have a buddy video my hands. Which side is better to film for a righty?
Just what I said, no one else here seems to have experienced what you have with the Bersa Thunder. What do you mean "no one else has had this happen"?
Member Rex B described the exact same thing.
