Which Blackhawk is your favorite?

They are absurdly good revolvers. My 45 is my most accurate centerfire handgun. But yesterday I shot my 357 a lot and realized it is probably my favorite centerfire handgun. They are just that good. I also enjoyed my 22 Single Six and 32 H&R Single Six yesterday. Does anyone know if they ever made a 32 caliber Blackhawk?

There were Blackhawks made in 32-20 with convertible cylinder for .32 H&R.

Also briefly there was a .327 Federal BH made, but it was dropped and later the smaller Single Seven came out in .327.

I get shortness of breadth when I see some of these single-action threads with pictures. I'm going to have to start shopping . . .

Blackhawk

Hands down it would be this one in 10MM - 38/40 'BUCKEYE SPECIAL' I have it's mate in 32/20- 32MAG w/ it's black holster, and a few others, but to pick one, this would be it. Ivory was added later. :)

I had a 10.5 inch with the square trigger guard before I started handloading. It busted my knuckle up shooting it so I traded it off. I could have loaded that up with more comfortable 44 spl or lighter 44 mags if only I knew.
It's OK. I am getting a flat top tomorrow. So I'll be back with that picture soon. Here's my old heavy barrel hog leg in the attachment image.

Got this one today

357 4.75

I have the very first handgun my father bought. It is a blackhawk 357 with the 4.75 bbl. Of course it has had a few thousand rounds through it. Both 38 and 357. it has killed coyotes, deer prairie dogs ect... I have used it many years now and although it needs re-blued and a little wear it goes bang and most always hits where I point it. But then again I had a single six which I fired thousands of rounds through it for practice. lots of game fell too both.

I have a .357 purchased used. Shows some wear but it shoots great. My only S/A revolver.

It's not a Black Hawk but I have a .327 Ruger with a 4 inch bbl. It is
really nice. Lots of zip but not much recoil.

I buy mine used and don't care if the finish is imperfect, so my friend here won't win any beauty contests. But I have shot a lot of 38's and 357's, including some very nice ones, and none of them could outshoot this old veteran.

I'll have to go with the awe factor of my super accurate stainless 10.5" 44 magnum Super Blackhawk.

Hey user slapdead- I only have a 7.5" sbh, but I'm always intrigued by the longer barrels. Would you have gone even longer if you could or do you think 9-11" is probably the sweet spot for extended barrels?
