Ahhh, I see that 10-10 up there. Do like mine.

I would have to agree with someone else that stated their favorite cartridge to reload was what they are loading at the time. I have been reloading for over 55 years, had a reloading business for 35 years and still love to sit down and load up a few rounds. At one time I was able to load 86 different cartridges plus 3 gauges of shot shells, so picking one out of the pack would be difficult. Maybe 30-30 Ackley Improved 40* because I just like how it looks with a pointed bullet.

This is the 30-30 Ackley Imp. 40* also load 223 AI 40*, 30 Gibbs, 30-338, 30-06 AI 40*, 22 K Hornet 357 Herrett, 6.5 TCU, 7mm TCU

I'm not a "new" reloader, but I don't reload often. I have setups to reload for just about every caliber I shoot, but my favorite by far is the .45-70

I really struggled with .223 early on, and reloading for .45 ACP seemed like it wasn't worth it for performance reasons and I would also bell the case mouths either too much or too little.

.45-70 is super easy to load, has a ton of versatility, saves me a LOT of money, and feels really cool to be reloading a cartridge that has existed for so long and was originally intended to be loaded with black powder. I also feel super safe loading it because the Marlin and Ruger actions that fire .45-70 are so much stronger than the reloading data that most companies provide, so I usually am way underloading them, or building some "hot-rod" loads that aren't even touching the top of the Marlin's range, but way hotter than you would want to put in your great-grandpa's trapdoor.

I've never really considered having a favorite. But 223/5.56 would be pretty high on my list as would be 308/7.62. 45-70 would be on the list too.

Definitely 357 Magnum which I include 38 special as well. 357 is my favorite caliber and it's the whole reason I started reloading.
The history of both was always intriguing to me, I really wanted to work up some 38-44 loads but decided against it.

Well the one I reload the most is 9mm but I can't say it's my favorite. That would be 44 mag because I like its versatility from a reloading and a shooting perspective. Everything from a burp to a kaboom. For rifle I would have to say .257 Roberts just because.
