Loading below suggested starting loads with some powders can be dangerous and it isn't helpful with any powder.

I have a reload data manual from Pacific Tool (Hornady) that came with my old press. It's old though, printed 1971.

Hornady makes bullets and publishes manuals with their bullets, so they should be considered "bullet Guys". Yes?

I have to agree with the "OTHER" choice. I take a look at all the data in all the manuals I have, look on the net, AND research others pet loads on several forums including this one. THEN and only then I will make a best guesstimate of what to try and start with safe starting loads and slowly work my way up to an accurate load. This has worked extremely well for me in the past. Having the interweb now is a great resource and wish it was available when I started this adventure. Well we at least had TV and I saw how to use a firearm or two on there.:D Nothing takes the place of what is between your ears for producing a safe accurate load combo. Everything else is just a guideline to the end result.
