Midway has the edge with better pricing and a much easier to navigate interface. I still Like Brownells however and do purchase from them.

Brownells has better customer service to me, but Midway has a tad better prices often. Brownells has a better selection overall, minus ammo it seems. One thing that made me stop buying from Midway is that they do some goofy initial bank account probe to see if you have the funds which affects your accounts balance, then after the order is processed then they draw out of your account a second time the actual funds. So if you have a bank like US Bank you get a double charge on your account! Of course only one of the taps into the account actually draws money out, but it can mess up things if your bank charges you a fee for overdrafting due Midways dopey process:mad:. Also its nice Brownells offers a small package rate for small items like sights. I think its $5 now, but better than $10.

Brownells has the best service and inventory......every time I order from Midway the item is out of stock or back ordered.

I placed a small order with Brownells last week (under $300). Brownells was lower priced with the exception of one item (less than two bucks difference). You guys do have accounts, right?

I use both. I agree that Midway is easier to navigate, but Brownell's does have a better selection of replacement parts for older firearms.

B&M

I like them both. Brownell's has the edge on firearms parts - though Midway keeps improving that end of the business.
No ammo at Brownell's.
There are other retailers online who also do a good job - Grafs, MidSouth, Wideners - to name three.

Brownells for gun parts and gunsmithing supplies, Midway for ammo, reloading tools, components and shooting accessories. Midway's site is easier to navigate and their search engine is certainly better but I usually just shop from Brownells' catalog and do a direct item number entry online.

Depends what your looking for and if you have a discount, C&R FFL gets you a discount at both, however Brownells is a better discount, good for parts and accessories, if you want reloading supplies Grafs is best.

Like others, I use midwayusa almost exclusively due to the interface.
It's many times better than Brownell's.

Brownell's shines if you're looking for parts or smithing tools.

Brownell's all the way! I use them 99% of the time. I am running a business and don't have time for anything less than the perfect business Brownell's offers. They package and ship like lightning. They manage my account very well and returns are handled exceptionally well. Not to mention it goes a LONG way with me when the President of Brownell's himself sends me a hand written letter sent in a hand addressed envelope thanking me for my business. That got my business for sure.

Good folks there.
Cheers
Mac.

Midway is beat for they have a bigger assortment of ammo and everything. Brownells charges me tax cause I live in state.

Tough choice, I use both.

I have been shopping with Brownell's for at least 25 yrs. and their service is impeccable. They also have what they advertise IN STOCK (most of the time).

Midway has gotten to the point where they are running "too lean" on inventory schedules and are often out of (or back ordering) products. They have gotten very bad about publishing "estimated in stock times" only to push it forward 2-3 more times. :fire:

I selected Midway...however... simply because the site is easier to navigate.
