I am trying to decide which gun to carry for everyday concealed carry. The two guns are both 1911's, but they are different.
First Gun;
S&W 1911 Gov't in Blue
Steel Frame
45 ACP
Second Gun:
Kimber Pro Carry II Commander in Stainless
Alloy Frame (considerably lighter)
40 S&W
I like the stopping power of the 45, but like the lighter weight of the 40. They both hold the same number of rounds, 8+1.
I am carrying in a Galco Summer Comfort IWB with FBI tilt.
Any thoughts would be apprecieated.
