Which gun to keep...

Are you in dire need to sell one of them? I wouldnt think about selling your Jericho, just for the class and sentiment factors

Selling the Jericho doesn't make any sense to me. Here's why.
1. It's your first.
2. It's your first.
3. It's your first.
4. It saved your life. That's like selling a dog that saved you. Talk about back stabbing!
5. You don't need to sell it. Keep it for the sentiment alone.
6. It's your first.
7. You'll never get out of it what you want.
8. Just trust us....again. We won't steer you wrong.

The Jericho might be worth keeping because it's not all that common and as guns come and go.some day it might be even more desirable/valuable+the great reasons that have already been posted.

Often times the best firearms in the world turn out to be trusty old friends that can't be replaced after they are lost, stolen or sold for reasons you often can't remember later.

Keep it and you'll always have an extra reliable old friend around when you need it.

Plus, I don't think you'd get $500 for it. That's what it's worth, but since private sales have been outlawed (I'm still not sure if this is a National or State-by-state law), you'd be lucky to find a dealer to pay you $300 (and realistically, probably closer to $250). I don't think it's worth selling for that price tag.

Is anything in this post based on fact or this completely stuff you made up or heard from some knucklehead mall ninja at the LGS? There is no nation prohibition of private sales. The universal background check measure failed.

Looks like you already made up your mind about not selling your Jericho so you might as well take that off the table. As for the G19, My brother has one that he recently got.
Im not a true fan of Glock but I have to admit, This particular Glock does feel a bit of good in the hands.

They are just guns no matter what emotional qualities you try to attach to them. I sold my first handgun years after it was apparent that I would never/seldom shoot it and my X-wife kept my second handgun. The second one stung becasue it was my favorite handgun. But what can I say?

You can always replace them if you want to. Sell it if you want to. But I have no problem owning a firearm that I seldom shoot or have an interest in shooting. Eventually they go if they are common. But, only you can make this decision. But I would carry the better gun.

Keep it. Handguns don't take up much space. I have only gotten rid of one gun - ever. It was a Mossberg bolt action 16 ga. shotgun, my uncle gave it to me and later decided he wanted it back, he even offered to pay me for it.
