which muzzle brake for 7 rem mag

I have a savage 112 in 7 mag that is my dedicated long-range gun. mostly just shoot paper from 300 - 800 yds. i'm thinking of putting a muzzle brake on it and am looking for opinions on brands, installations prices, etc.

My recomendation for muzzle break for a 7mm rem mag is called a Limbsaver pad, it gives you all the recoil protection without adding to the already monster KABOOM every time you pull the trigger. If your 7mm rem mag still rattles your teeth do what I did and get the 270 WSM, flatter trajectory, less noise, shorter barrel and MUCH less recoil. I have owned 3 7mm rem mags but after shooting my WSM you could not give me another big 7!

Some of the guys I shoot with use PWS brakes. They do work pretty well, but you're going to pay with increased blast.

The only way around the problem of increased blast is to run a suppressor. Those reduce recoil, blast, and flash. Of course, you pay $200 for the tax stamp, $500+ for the can and increase weight and bulk.
